Biden is president. Trump is not. How do people point a finger at Trump? He deescalated North Korea. He didn't start any news conflicts. He began pulling out of Afghanistan.
Because they are being told so by the media.cmsteven said:

i don't know either.....it easily could be a dozen variations... I think its most probable that what our MSM tells us is false. I also think the complexity of what is going on the world over is much greater that what we react to on the surface.caryking said:Werewolf said:

Honestly, I really don't know why…
I've been trying to get reliable info to track the military situation, the media sources on the ground are worthless. What matters to me is the fighting spirit of the Ukrainians and whether their military realistically planned beforehand for a worst case Russian invasion, which is kind of what they're getting. If they did, they had to realize that to withstand a superior enemy, prolonged bleeding of the Russians was their best strategy and the tactics for that require underground stockpiled arms, munitions, food and water in the cities for extensive street fighting (heavy on infantry, tanks are vulnerable as hell in built up areas), while letting their motorcycle-borne special forces roam the countryside behind the lines at night attacking Russian logistics dumps, commo sites, and supply chains.Werewolf said:

That there is an act of War! If we do that, we are deeply involved in this mess.Werewolf said:
Hillary Clinton just openly called for the United States government to conduct cyber attacks against Russia - on live TV
"I think we could also be attacking a lot of the government institutions and again, the oligarchs and their way of life through cyber attacks."
What?! Then she says that we should be "beaming in accurate information into the homes of Russians" through their televisions. BULLS$it

Right or wrong, this invasion didn't pop up in the last 6 months, it's been a long-time coming.

This has everything to do with the weakened state that our country is currently in. The lingering pandemic effects, our weakened position in oil, and yes our weakened position in the White House.
Europe has become so dependent on Russian oil, that they are in no position to stand up against Russia. Since the US has cut our own production, we are in no place to help Europe.
Yes, Putin has been planning this for a while, everybody has known he wants Mother Russia back. But, the current state of our country is exactly why it's happening now and why it didn't happen during the last administration.

Tha above poster is correct. This didn't start in the last six months. Putin has had this planned for probably ten years or more. He's been laying the ground work for a cyber war and has as good of cyber experts as we do.
The kinetic part, going on right now is because he can. Biden's weakness allowed it. Also, the euro landscape has created a no win situation for themselves. Go look at how much energy they get from Russia.
The real question is: will he take control and keep Ukraine? Some are speculating he can't . He doesn't have the financial means to make it part of Russia. So, he will negotiate at the end for the part of Ukraine he wants and give the rest back. To be seen…

AND THE WHEELS BEGIN TO COME OFF IN UKRAINE. No wonder Putin has put his nuclear deterrence forces on alert.

It still doesn't change the fact of what I said. This was continually squashed by our own media leading up to the 2020 election. And again, switch the name from Biden to Trump and what would've happened?
To treat it like old news when it's never gotten the true attention it deserves...well, you see where I'm coming from.
