Wrong. He and many other democrats have referred to the GOP and Republicans as Nazis numerous times. I'd link the articles but...you know.... teach a man to fish..... You know it but you fail to acknowledge it. Your party is taking this country down a very treacherous path. They haven't even taken control yet and the power grabs are obvious. Banning and limiting conservative voices on social media platforms in order to control the news narrative sound familiar only with print, radio and limited television at the time? We've heard all that rhetoric before. This isn't the first time Dems have been in full control. The world won't end.

And I'm progressive socially but I'm not a Democrat. I don't care about political parties and think the two-party system is a huge problem.

Get this... Shopify is now taking down stores that sell Trump merchandise.

Shopify is one of, if not the biggest, webstore platforms being used by companies. Folks, this is just like living in China with CCP controlling firewalls, etc...

Lol, just trying to understand your earlier post. We all know what sparked the Floyd unrest. But why did some people riot? I don't know - sometimes people got carried away with their anger, sometimes people were reacting to police overreaction. But I don't remember political figures out there egging them on. Did that happen?

Just to be clear, I'm not saying that criminal charges make sense for those speaking at the Trump rally. I actually don't think they do. But those people, including Trump, certainly had to understand the dry tinder they were dealing with and the sparks that their words were providing.

The speakers did not incite the people damaging the Capitol. In fact, the vast majority of the people that went into the Capitol didn't create any damage. Hell, even the Capitol City police opened the gates in certain areas allowing, perhaps even telling, people to go in.

Only a small percentage of the total people at the rally went to the Capitol. Then a small percent of the people that went into the Capitol, damaged the property..

So, my question above was a parallel to the riots this past summer. We started with people who feel marginalized (same as the people at the rally). A segment start to protest in the streets. A small segment of them riot and damages private property.

What do get from the MSM? This was all a peaceful protest even when building (PRIVATE PROPERTY) are burning to the ground. Contrast that to the reporting from this week.

It's my opinion that all of the rioting and damage done is the same. We don't need it and it makes your cause diminished.

Now Martin Luther King, if he was here, would protest in total peace if allowed. There were peaceful protesters on Wednesday and peaceful protesters at BLM marches and criminals too. I know Wednesday's protest was permitted to be near the White House, not Congress.

I'm actually asking people like you because thats who I engage with... I watch sports; however, other than that, I have no relationship with them nor do I engage them. If they would like to come on the forum and engage with us, then, they will be one of many engaging.

Not true. But honestly, there's no need for anyone to dispute it. It HAS been disputed by the Nevada SoS, but all you have to do is look how Trump's folks came up with that number you'll realize there's not a need to dispute it because their source (the DMV) doesn't show who voted.

""The DMV finally provided a list of green card holders and noncitizens who had obtained driver's licenses. When we compared this detailed information against the county voter records in Nevada, we discovered that 6,260 noncitizens were registered to vote and 3,987 non-citizens had voted."

And as of December 20, no evidence had been presented to Nevada that such a thing happened. The 3987 claim was made prior to that date. All the guy in the article is doing is recycling that false number.

Non-citizens were able to register and vote in Nevada.

It is a felony for non-citizens to register to vote or cast a ballot in Nevada. Any individuals who are found to have voted illegally will be prosecuted. (As of 12/18/20 we have not been presented with evidence of non-citizens voting in the 2020 election.)

And once again, it's not on the Nevada elections folks to prove a claim is wrong. That's not the way it works, anywhere. The burden of proof is on the person making the claims, and as with all the other fraud claims around the country, nobody has come up with any proof for this one, either. If they had, you'd think they would have brought it to the Nevada SoS or the courts there in one of the hearings.

I read another article that explained it further, but the bottom line really is, as with all the other fake claims of fraud, if there really was any evidence, it would have been shown to the various Secretaries of State, election boards, and courts around the country.

But none ever was. There's a reason for that: There was never anything but claims, no actual evidence. And that's because none of this stuff happened.

Didn't want to start a new thread but was just reading where Apple and Amazon are shutting down access to Parler, an alternative Twitter-like website primarily used by conservatives. Appears Parler may be forced off line until they find another host. Pretty scary to think of the power big tech has.
