Getting wild out there. Just wanted to ensure fair election trump winning or not. Seems the swamp is back in control. Regardless of outcome they win. Expect higher oil prices, more conflicts abroad, higher taxes/costs, climate change brunt put back on USA and not China, and whole host of things that don't mesh with common sense. The swamp entails the far left and old guard right warhawks. Kind sad they're back in control. I guess they really never left. Fbi, Doj, and CIA didn't do anything to help trump.
Ever stop and think that maybe, just maybe: Trump is FOS? And all these lies that randomly got put out there, tweeted and retweeted some more long after each and every one was debunked, were just that? Lies?
You could really start with each and every rumor that got thrown out there after the election about "fraud this and cases of ballots that" and go through them one by one:.....every one of them was debunked. All of them. But that didn't matter. Trump and his people ran with them, even though I guarantee Trump really knows it was BS.
The lies kept on: Dominion "server farm" in Germany raided by the US Army, no less. Total BS. There was no server farm, no raid, and even if there was for damn sure the US Army wouldn't be doing it on foreign soil.
Dominion got its start with Hugo Chavez....nope, totally false.
All the rumors about funny business in Georgia....just heard this week "servers were seized" there. Nope, totally false, never happened.
Sidney Powell's vaunted military intelligence expert was never in the military intelligence. He was a mechanic.
And on and on and on, but all this BS was seized upon and repeated and repeated by Trump supporters, until now, many of them think it's all true and Trump got screwed.
He didn't. He lost, as fairly and squarely as any other election we've had.
Was there probably some funny business on the local level, around the country? Sure. Always was, always will be. But it's no more or less than any other election....the biggest difference is, Trump. He whined and complained, is a sore loser and has conducted himself as such.
Just like in Iowa 2016, when Cruz beat him. He cried "rigged/fraud" then. Don't see why anyone thought this was any different.
I supported the guy all through his Presidency, thought he did some good things, even though I hated his conduct on Twitter and most any time he opened his mouth...if he could have just shut the hell up and put his phone down, he'd have been viewed FAR differently, IMO.
But his conduct since the election has done terrible harm to our country. That's almost unforgiveable. Luckily, the courts were not having it. At least they still retain some integrity. He should just silently serve the rest of his term and go golfing like we know he's going to do anyway. But you know he won't.
Hopefully things will gradually calm down, Biden will serve his 4 years without too much fuss, and in 2024 we can get some better candidates on both sides.
