The more moderate or milquetoast of Republicans/conservatives were much more likely to go along with the official narrative, with many moderate Republicans and RINOs supporting the vaccine mandates.

Almost every Republican governor was pimping this stupid vaxx to their constituents - proving that the "moderate" Republicans are almost worthless.

The CDC's latest print (at least regionally for the South) showed RSV has peaked and was starting to go down. Probably similar to the previous post for NC which has a slight week over week decline in RSV (even though it is still higher than COVID in that particular surveillance).

To your point, our peds floor in the hospital is full of RSV and flu, not covid.

My former next door neighbor down here is in his early 70's (super nice guy) and got the flu shot close to a month ago... he's been sick as hell all week now with the flu. Seems like it's been too long ago now for it to have been a reaction to the shot, but what do I know.

Another thing... saw a commercial for a flu shot from a specific manufacturer earlier this week and they were advertising two different shots? I don't get flu shots - but if one did, how do you decide which one to get? Do you just stroll in to your local CVS and they just magically know which one to give you?

I can only speak from my experience. I seem to have an adverse reaction to eggs (not an allergy, more like an intolerance) so I have to ask for a specific flu shot when I get it from my doctor. Apparently one brand doesnt use any sort of egg, so thats the one I get. Before we discovered this, the flu shot used to knock me on my ass for a day or so every year when I got it (I have to get it for work). Now there are zero side effect after getting it.
