As the NWO's transhumanist agenda appears to fail we should anticipate a new and much more deadly virus to mysteriously appear. Oh, look at today's news......what a coincidence!

TOPLINE
Ghana confirmed the country's first outbreak of the deadly Marburg virus on Sunday, placing it and neighboring countries on high alert as experts scramble to contain the highly infectious Ebola-like disease for which there is no approved vaccine or treatment.

Do we expect be an experimental EUA vaccine to be available, once again?

A New Zealand reporter compared not wearing a mask to drunk driving, as both apparently put others at risk.

The reporter said, "Public health experts are saying that we need to be moving towards becoming a mask-wearing society including having to use public health campaigns a la 'don't drunk drive' / 'wear your mask to protect others'. Why are we not rolling out a public awareness campaign like we do with drunk driving?"

New Zealand is now rolling out a campaign that will support further mask use and that "masks matter."

Let's prepare to COMPLY

I saw that today....i actually started to post it here, but got distracted at work. It wasn't the battle of SD and its mayor so much...but the Harvard study about the impact of online learning versus in person.
Not surprisingly, it affects the lower income group you would expect it to the worst.

OTOH, my opinion, but we can argue about the medical benefit (or not) of wearing a mask, but if parents are going to keep kids out of school because they don't want to comply with a mask mandate, than its the parents that are contributing to their lessened education.

If you KNOW that kids get a lesser education remotely, but you keep them home because you are scared a mask is going to hurt them, then yes.
That doesn't make parents horrible (is that your emotion?)...it means they choosing badly. For someone thinks we should be accountable for our own decisions, who would you blame if the parents choose the lesser of the two means of education?

*Of course, some parents can make this choice AND ensure their kids do well remotely.

Well, for an emotional response…

My oldest daughter was basically self home-schooled (7th -12th grades). I don't consider myself a horrible parent! BTW, she graduated from High Point University and now works as a Visual Merchandiser/Store Designer, for Ralph Lauren. Hell, probably making more money that a lot of folks here. Oh, and she's only 23, living on the Upper East Side, in NYC.

With all that said, my wife and I didn't want to comply to the mandate of indoctrinated education. I guess we chose the lesser of two means of education…

One more thing, I'll bet she could have a better argument on Christianity, public policies, and so many subjects, than you, Chem. < Yes, another emotional comment or just a happy father!

I burst out laughing when I see these dupes still wearing their face diapers. Let them breathe in all that bacteria festering in their face diaper. They deserve it. They chose this. They choose to believe known liars. They choose to place their trust in the communist Establishment. They love it. They love being a slave. They love being lied to and conned.

I've seen advertised on TV a lot lately, an option for children preferring to learn remotely rather than put up with issues encountered by attending school on-campus. I know that homeschooling in NC has been steadily climbing for over a decade or two, I wonder if options like this are going to accelerate that trend? Going to be a real problem for public schools if so, especially in rural counties.

As I said, some parents/children can handle the remote learning well. Something you guys had clearly reasoned with. But it also dealt with educational rationale, not "I don't want poor Betsy to have to wear a mask". IIRC , you're wife is also a teacher, which should lend itself to a better home environment. Good on you.

Others, as the statistics quoted in the article indicate, do not. And while I can disagree with teh school district's policy (if all these people double vaxed are getting covid now, how is a mask helping), the choice between giving my child an environment that has proven to be less effective so that she because I hate the government telling me to wear a mask is likely a bad decision in most cases.

Probably not as many as you would think. US wide I think the sampling was in the neighborhood of 30k. If you do a study well, you don't need that high of numbers... then again... I can't comment on the study being done well.

And just because they don't detect antibodies doesn't mean someone hasn't been infected. So, I would think 80% is more of a floor.

I hope all you branch covidians are making your appointment for your monkepox vaccine right now. Get two or three doses to be safe. This is an EMERGENCY. Your authorities and experts have declared it so. This is science. I hope they implement another two weeks to stop the spread that turns into two years of shutting down the country.
