Finishing up round 2 right now. Not even CLOSE to as bad as the first round. Started feeling it on Tues, worked all day. Worked a partial day on Wednesday with a pretty sore throat and just feeling crappy. Some mild fever, sore throat and heavy congestion since - kept me out out Thursday & Friday (I'm full remote). Feeling better today, just need to ditch the last of the congestion.

Same. Felt pretty crappy yesterday and last night but definitely on the upswing today.

Went to a family get together last weekend up in Williamsburg, little cousin was performing in his high school play. Eight of the 13 of us that were either in the house together or shared a lot of contact over the weekend have come down with it over the last week.
Wait? I guess I must not have understood what was being discussed... I thought it was getting the vaccine at first, but now that Civ has posted, I guess they must be talking about Omicron 2?

Ha! Maybe I assumed wrong, damn sure wouldn't be the first time.

Since Quacker was talking about ill effects for several days I though he meant round 2 of COVID, not round 2 of the vaccine. Not many folks had vax side effects that lasted four or five days, but you know what they say about assumptions.

Regardless, hope Quacker is right as rain very soon!

Yeah, sorry I wasn't clear. I had "OG" Covid March '20... early adopter. Really struggled with 13 days of 100+ fever, mialgia, nausea, etc etc. Long time to full recovery. Last week I got round 2 of Covid and while not NEARLY as bad, it definitely had me down and out for a few days. Thanks for the well wishes, I'm at 90% and just need to get back on a good sleep schedule.

EVERY person has a "narrative" or view they are pushing. And every person "spams" every thread with their views.

What is your definition of "spamming"? Just posting an opinion, and a link or other information?

Or is it only "spamming" when it's someone that you disagree with who is expressing their opinion?

No they don't GP.

Spamming is repeatedly posting random links and memes without any effort to vet what's being posted against common sense litmus tests and/or without any accompanying thought, analysis, or conversation.

There's exactly one guy on this board that does that.

MIT study using Israeli data finds COVID vaccines 'significantly associated' with jump in emergency heart problems.

Increased emergency cardiovascular events among under-40 population in Israel during vaccine rollout and third COVID-19 wave

2022 Apr 28

Abstract

Cardiovascular adverse conditions are caused by coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) infections and reported as side-effects of the COVID-19 vaccines. Enriching current vaccine safety surveillance systems with additional data sources may improve the understanding of COVID-19 vaccine safety. Using a unique dataset from Israel National Emergency Medical Services (EMS) from 2019 to 2021, the study aims to evaluate the association between the volume of cardiac arrest and acute coronary syndrome EMS calls in the 16-39-year-old population with potential factors including COVID-19 infection and vaccination rates. An increase of over 25% was detected in both call types during January-May 2021, compared with the years 2019-2020. Using Negative Binomial regression models, the weekly emergency call counts were significantly associated with the rates of 1st and 2nd vaccine doses administered to this age group but were not with COVID-19 infection rates. While not establishing causal relationships, the findings raise concerns regarding vaccine-induced undetected severe cardiovascular side-effects and underscore the already established causal relationship between vaccines and myocarditis, a frequent cause of unexpected cardiac arrest in young individuals. Surveillance of potential vaccine side-effects and COVID-19 outcomes should incorporate EMS and other health data to identify public health trends (e.g., increased in EMS calls), and promptly investigate potential underlying causes.

Get that?

Heart problems are NOT associated with Covid-19 infection rates. But ARE "significantly associated" with the rates of vaccine doses.

It's not against a rule to dominate conversation at a party, or be a close-talker, or microwave fish in the office kitchen for lunch, either. That still doesn't make them productive actions.

I didn't say he never conversed, I said virtually all of the spammy link-farm meme posts come from him.

If we went back and looked at the last 50 links or memes posted without conversation, the over/under would be 47 of them coming from Werewolf.

All anyone here is asking is for him to not meme-vomit all over the boards. There shouldn't have to be a board rule requiring basic social awareness.

There really needs to be a flood control feature on the forum. There's no reason a single poster should be able to post six times in a row on a thread in a short span of time. Folks can post whatever they want, I am an ardent user of the ignore button so I don't care, just put it all in one post, or wait a while.

Definitely okay to double-dip a chip - especially in this new Covid world. In fact, I think it is okay to take a partially eaten clair out of a trash can, as long as it was sitting on top and there was something between it and the trash ;-) I also follow the 10 second rule for food that hits the floor.

I guess since the poster doesn't goose step in line with your political beliefs you felt the need to call them out for everyone to see.

Actually, GP, heart problems are definitely 100% related to covid infections, at higher rates than they are to vaccines. The paper you're referencing is comparing the volume of EMS calls regarding cardiac arrest or cardiac symptoms (which can be as vague as chest pains) before and after vaccines. EMS calls are not diagnostic, and not all those who call EMS with "cardiac symptoms" have cardiac issues, so while this information is interesting and could be helpful, one certainly can't conclude what you stated.

That's simply false. It is not true that Werewolf does not provide any" thought, analysis, or conversation. He is clearly engaging in a lot of conversation here with other posters. And he also provides a lot of his own thoughts and analysis on the information/links he posts. Yes, I guess it is true that he does sometimes post a link or meme with little or no other commentary. But so what? That's not against any rule.

It's not against a rule to dominate conversation at a party, or be a close-talker, or microwave fish in the office kitchen for lunch, either. That still doesn't make them productive actions.
First of all, spot on post... but in regard to the bolded above, is it still OK to double-dip a chip every now and then?

If there's alcohol served at the party, obviously yes. A good stiff drink cancels out potential double-dip germs.
Undoubtedly. I've observed that drunk drivers frequently survive car crashes when others do not. I've often wondered if ethanol provides a degree of fortification against trauma.

Do you have any idea what the amendments say?

He doesn't care. He just wants to spam every thread he can with whatever fits his narrative.
Is the post related or not? Yes it is. There are a number of articles on the web if you'll look..........this was a summary.

RWW, pay attention for possibly a few weeks........if you possibly can......I know you're capable. But you're way behind my man.........way behind what is truth. You're not going to know there's a food crisis coming until you're at the grocery store one day this summer. You'll get some practice real soon with supply chain issues out of China coming. That's how far inside the matrix you are........simply clueless. Reactive.........to what you saw on CNN or even FoxNews.

Clueless? Do you have any clue how I live? How much food I have? How much savings I have? How big a garden I grow every year? How.much actual meat I have in the freezer? No you don't so take you clueless ass remarks somewhere else.
Always glad to see such classy remarks from a "moderator.." I guess even after all the personal insults you slung at me you are still sticking with the same M.O.

Stay classy.... wouldn't expect anything else from someone like you.

Your ignorance is always welcome here.
