This is an incredible statement from Dr. Drew (short video clip at link). Dr. Drew says that a known side effect of these covid "booster" shots is fainting, and he says that he has a friend that had a severe reaction and "got destroyed by the booster" and has "had all sorts of symptoms" and "still can't walk across the room". He goes on to say that "there's a lot of funny stuff" happening due to the shots.
And yet despite knowing this, Dr. Drew says in the clip "It's still worth doing it (getting the shots)". Unbelievable. I think these doctors are clearly just saying stuff like this even though they know the dangers of the shots, precisely because they are all threatened with losing their license if they speak out against the "official" narrative.

Today, I am posting another graph that compares California (statewide mask mandate) to Florida (no statewide mask mandate). Also, remember LA County and San Francisco have indoor AND outdoor mask mandates in place.
If your explanation has includes "Florida is hiding their cases", you need to find a better explanation. Mask mandates, just like lockdown's have little effect on the cases and hospitalizations. Why? Cloth masks and surgical masks (the main ones used throughout the population), have low effectiveness against an aerosol spread virus. Any gaps in the mask will allow viral material to escape.
Also, if you think removing mask mandates will lead to an increase in cases and hospitalizations and you point to the Delta wave last Summer, remember this little statistical fact: Correlation does NOT equal causation.

It is not a mystery. We have a highly infectious virus in circulation and as such, it is subject to seasonal effects, based on the behavior of the population that is at risk of infection. Add to this the fact the virus is continuing to mutate in ways that continues to make it infectious and you can get some understanding as to why we have waves of infection.
As I have posted before, we will have another Covid wave this Summer. The size of the wave will be determined by the variant in circulation at the time. If it is still Omicron, I expect it to be lower than the Winter wave we are coming out of now. If it is a new variant that is more infectious than Omicron, I expect it to be similar to this Winter wave. Having a mask mandate will have NO effect on if we have a wave or not.

Went to a restaurant in Cary today (Cary still has a mask mandate). No employees had a mask on and no patrons. No sign on the door, so I happily walked in without a mask, ordered, and had a nice lunch with my wife. I do not get why Wake Co. and many of the towns in Wake Co. are continuing the ineffective mask mandates. My only theory is they do not want to admit they were wrong. They certainly can not point to any evidence masks had an effect on the Winter wave, but I expect them to try. I am just waiting for them to say through mask mandates, contact tracking, and vaccines, we were able to end this latest wave of infection. Simple biology had no effect in their minds.

Add to this the fact the virus is continuing to mutate in ways that continues to make it infectious and you can get some understanding as to why we have waves of infection.
As I have posted before, we will have another Covid wave this Summer. The size of the wave will be determined by the variant in circulation at the time. Agree, however there is a large segment of the population that deny it exists and believe things like social distancing, quarantines, and mask mandates are effective in keeping us safe from infection. Take for example, the writer of the opinion article in Bloomberg. He acts like it is a mystery. I just posted a link to the Bloomberg article on my Facebook page and I am just waiting for some of my more progressive and Covid-scared friends to chime in with their disagreement. If they do, I will just post some of the same graphs I posted on here the past few days and a link to the study out of Canada I posted months ago that demonstrated how ineffective masks are in preventing infection.
He had a posting style that could just immediately "trigger" even some of the "more reserved" liberals (ie. In simpler terms, Glass never liked him being here from the start (apparently they had previous history from another board) and BBW wouldn't respond to his moderation (and yes Glass, your moderation - admittedly or not - always gets biased when it comes to anything political) in enough of a manner that he probably could / should have... and then BBW and Runs started and continued a never-ending pissing match about anything and everything (which I never really completely understood to be honest).

I didn't even know who he was on PP. I do know he was banned for life there by another mod on PP. I had zero to do with his banning here. I tried to get him to take things down a notch and have expressed that to numerous other posters here. One of the board owners banned him and not at my request. Personal attacks. I can't remember him ever having a bender like that Asheville kid did last night though. You can tell by the "moderation" of his posts which side the "mods" don't allow personal attacks on. They edited his attacks on civ and left up the attacks on Storm and me. Will be interesting to see if he's still around after that meltdown last night. I do have his address though if anyone wants to send a get well card.
