Postal employees are a critical part of elections, they aren't held to the same standard that Feds in other departments.

They don't wear masks either. Their job is to scare their flock. Unfortunately their flock is blind/ignorant.
One of the creepier aspects of today's Supreme Court arguments in the OSHA vaccine-mandate case was hearing Justices Sonia Sotomayor and Stephen Breyer treat unvaccinated workers as if they were subhuman. Here's Sotomayor:
Quote:
JUSTICE SOTOMAYOR: So what's the difference between this and telling employers, where sparks are flying in the workplace, your workers have to be wear a mask? MR. KELLER: When sparks are flying in the workplace, that's presumably because there's a machine that's unique to that workplace. That is the JUSTICE SOTOMAYOR: Why is the human being not like a machine if it's spewing a virus, blood-borne viruses? Are you questioning Congress's power or desire that OSHA do this? It already in 1991 told OSHA to issue regulations with respect to Hep C and B.
Quote:
Then there was Justice Breyer, arguing that it should be acceptable for OSHA to adopt regulations that drive workers out of the workplace because, hey, some people might quit rather than work with unvaccinated others:
Quote:
And they said, in our view, hmm, yeah, that's right, some people may quit, maybe 3 percent. But more may quit when they discover they have to work together with unvaccinated others because that means they may get the disease.
The raw transcript fails to capture the scorn dripping from Breyer's voice when he said "unvaccinated others." It is certainly a turn of sorts for the Court's liberals to argue that it's acceptable for workplace laws to drive out employees because other people might quit rather than work with them. Just imagine the response if this had been said by a justice about, say, people with HIV. In 1987, Justice William Brennan was sticking up for a teacher with tuberculosis. How liberal attitudes have changed.
Quote:
The irony, of course, is that the entire conceptual framework of unvaccinated people being a risk to the vaccinated is obsolete with the Omicron variant, which spreads with as much ease between vaccinated people as unvaccinated.
I've seen headlines on twitter and videos on YouTube the last several days about "mass formation psychosis" in relation to the scamdemic, but just now decided to look into what people are talking about.
Dr. Robert Malone, one of the inventers of mRNA vaccine technology, recently appeared on the Joe Rogan podcast and described how a huge portion of society has been brainwashed into the "official" narrative on Covid-19 by something that can be termed "mass formation psychosis". He makes an excellent argument, which essentially boils down to the fact that people are in a state of fear and unable to think rationally, and are led to blindly follow the perceived "leaders" or "authorities".
But instead of trying to counter the argument Dr. Malone is making, the communist Establishment Lamestream media is making a petty red herring pseudo "argument" of attacking the terminology "mass formation psychosis" by arguing that this terminology is not "officially recognized" by the American Psychological Association. Lmfao.

This was the best 3 hours I have spent in a long time listening to something. Someone asked me why I believe what he says on the pod. Well number one big tech has worked hard to deplatform him. Number two his credentials are superb. Number three, if it looks like a duck, smells like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it probably is a duck.

Yes. Twitter and YouTube and most other far Left run Big Tech social media giants, in their officially stated new terms of service, will not allow speech that questions the the "official" narrative on Covid -- eg, opposing the mask mandates, or questioning the safety of the vaccines.

Welp, the Covid has hit the household. My college age son went to his roommates wedding NYE in eastern NC, and started feeing badly a couple of days later. He had bad headache, body aches, congestion. Friday night, my daughter and I both started with symptoms -- similar symptoms -- cough, headaches, body aches.
My son and daughter both had headaches enough that they just wanted to be in a room with all the lights off -- so certainly more than a normal cold symptoms. I feel like I've been hit with a truck, fever and body aches. No energy.
Son is better now, so I suspect if we are like him, today is our worst day.
Worse than a cold but not nearly bad enough to complain about it.

Similar here. Started feeling bad Wednesday. Thursday I took an at home test that showed positive. Took a PCR test friday that confirmed the positive. Worst days was Thursday and Friday. Absolutely no energy to do anything. All other symptoms very mild. No fever, Slight headache, scratchy throat, and some mild nasal congestion. I'm an avid jogger that runs 10-15 miles a week. Have been able to get out for a 4 mile walk/jog last couple days. Still not 100% but I think I'm getting there.
I had what could have been omicron-like symptoms starting last Saturday (stayed in new years eve with my s/o). Woke up with a feeling of tremendous sinus pressure, light drainage, scratchy throat, little bit of muscle aches (though honestly I have that most days), and worst of all a splitting headache that lasted three days. Not much for fever, tested at 98.8ish for a few days, which is slightly high for me. Wasn't working this past week so I wasn't really worried, but took an at home test Monday morning, mainly because my girlfriend is a teacher and she was supposed to go in for a work day. Test was negative but I don't know that I put a whole lot of faith in it. If I hadn't felt better Tuesday morning I was thinking about going and getting tested for her sake, but I did feel better. I've been very low on energy all week and am still a little sluggish. Was it Rona? Who knows. Girlfriend never developed any of my symptoms. She's boosted, I'm not. Ultimately, I just assumed it was, stayed home like I was going to anyway, and watched a ton of Netflix. Hope those with it get better soon.

17 people at my office have the crom. My sister and her family have the crom. My mom and dad have the crom. I have a head ache, congestion, and sore throat. Suspect I have the crom. I had J&J back in Feb of 20. No surprise at all if I have it. We all gonna get it. I haven't seen the R0 on the crom it's a big number the way it is burning through everyone.

It's what I have been saying. Omicron is infectious enough that most will get it and no one should be ashamed if they do. Saw some projections today that said 40% of the US population will become infected with Omicron by the time it peaks. We are at the point where breakthrough cases should no longer be news. Omicron evades many of the things people are doing to stay safe and luckily for the vast majority, symptoms are not too bad (compared to the damage it caused last year). As a society, we really need to adjust our expectations and the protocols.
In London, where the Omicron cases hit a couple of weeks earlier than the US, the R is now less than 1 and cases are starting to decline rapidly. I expect the same thing to happen in many areas in the US and believe it will begin later this week in some of the areas that have seen the highest rates of spread.
I hope your wife is not infected, but if she is, I hope she has a mild case and recovers quickly.
Here's the article I discussed this evening. The good news is since it was published 4 days ago, hundreds of university students, parents, alumni, & donors have told me they reached out to their school administrators to talk to them about these issues. https://t.co/GdOKil3Io7
I had a conversation with my employment attorney today about policy for Covid within my company. In the past if someone contract traced or had Covid we had give PTO above and beyond our normal accruals. By doing so I think we did a solid job of keeping our staff levels where they needed to be, we never had a time where more than 5/6 out of 99 people were out. Now with the crom we have 17/99 out. This is obviously a reflection of the current R0 of omicrom. The negative of having a very liberal policy on PTO for the rona we had quite a few people who had 40 days off last year for "contact tracing". I am looking to adjust our policy and keep folks safe at the same time as balancing work load. We are a manufacturer so the majority of our employees can not work from home. The new CDC guidance of 5 days has been very helpful as it makes common sense and appears to be based on science. I am still struggling with the contract tracing part. The reason is I don't want to know who is vax'd and who isn't. It's not my business to know that. My employees are adults and can make their own decisions. Hence we are at 99 and I will not hire any more folks until this forced vax crap is done.... Sorry rant.... What are companies you work for doing for contact tracing? Has anyone seen a plan they really thought was smart and strong from a common sense perspective? I want to throw more ideas at my attorney as she thinks we should keep the CDC guideline on this, but that requires me to ask about vax status and I don't want to know. It also means I treat two people differently based on vax status. I am looking forward to hearing from you guys on this.
Comorbidities and "with and of" are now relevant to the conversation. So ****ing ridiculous.
The CDC director just said over 75% of “covid deaths” occurred in people with at least four comorbidities. Since Biden can’t shut down covid, suddenly all this data is getting shared publicly. pic.twitter.com/NKvproy3lx

Our company was giving 5 additional days if they were covid positive. That lasted through the end of 2021. That has now gone away. Most of our local office can work from home if needed and I work in the field so I'm good.
Interesting graphs out of France where they are trying to do variant breakdown of hospitalizations.
I believe the top 2 charts are admissions (ICU, regular), and the bottom 2 are overall hospitalizations

The biggest takeaway from this talk and the one with Dr McCullough is that our president and others made false claims that the Pfizer vaccine was APPROVED by the FDA and it never has been. It's authorized...meaning the emergency use authorization was continued. But our president, the media and those pushing the vaccine blatantly misled all of us. That should make us all furious, but instead the person that told us this is being shunned and blackballed.
From Pfizer's site: EUA Statement
Emergency uses of the vaccine have not been approved or licensed by FDA, but have been authorized by FDA, under an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) to prevent Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) in individuals 5 years of age and older. The emergency uses are only authorized for the duration of the declaration that circumstances exist justifying the authorization of emergency use of the medical product under Section 564(b)(1) of the FD&C Act unless the declaration is terminated or authorization revoked sooner. Please see EUA Fact Sheets at www.cvdvaccine-us.com.
Daughter's daycare room just closed for two weeks. It seems crazy that daycare guidance hasn't been updated from June of 2020 with how long they shut down.
