Every hit this inning was with 2 strikes. 2 in 0-2 counts.

This guy just absolutely stopped calling strikes this inning.

You're just going to have to score runs. You're playing in an offensive ball park against a pitcher you should be all over.

The game changed when he didn't appeal Nixon's check swing to put him 0-2. I never understand that.

to be fair, we are all over him. this is all on the pitching staff so far. we just have to get better outings from our older guys
0 outs runners on 1st and 2nd with the top of the lineup. This has got to be the inning.
I hope Rett was bunting on his own there.
Don't love that bunt. This needed to be a big inning with 8/9 batters on and nobody out. Lots of baseball left to be playing like that.

It's the difference in the game. All of dukes runs have come with two outs. They are 6-9 with 2 outs. State hasn't got a 2 out hit.
Got away with a lot of free bases in that inning. Time to get the offense going again!

Home plate umpire is a JOKE
The strikes this clown has called against McHugh. Unreal.
What is this strike zone?
That should have been a four pitch walk.

Serrano might want to mosey by coach and say he'd give right field a go. Lol. Wiggins is just ice cold. Not sure what he gives you over Fraas besides a token left handed bat…

He def. looks bad today so far. Here are the in conference numbers in comparison with Fraasman this season though:
Wiggins .294 avg, .559 slg, .415 ob, while Fraasman is at .179 avg, .286 slg, .223 ob..... So Wiggins has not been great I agree 100%, but better than Bargo and Fraasman this season at the plate and its not close in some of those categories. That must be why the coaches are playing him at this point....
