6 games in and have no idea how to feel about where they are at. This pre conference schedule isnt go to push them to much. So dont know if we will have a good handle of what they are until conference play.

I would stick Peiffer at 3rd and not look back. Then got to figure out whether Ryan is the answer at SS. If he isn't go Nixon at SS and Johnson at 2B

I really don't understand batting McHugh 5th. He needs as many at bats as possible. Don't need to overthink things. Everyday 1-2-3 should be Head, McHugh, Bargo. Can mix it up behind it, but those guys need the most opportunity.

With how well this team bunted in game 2. I'm not sure how you don't attempt a bunt in game 3 when you clearly aren't hitting.

It's like State just assumed the bats would wake up at some point.
