Been quite the ride this year. Lot to grow on, hopefully (6 freshmen or sophomores in the lineup). Gotta re-tool the pitching staff because man- this aint it. Not sure what needs to be done, but hopefully we can get some fresh blood in there. Not even necessarily talking about CC, most know my thoughts on him, but we likely only have 2-3 arms that we would want to come back next year.

Giving up a 7 spot obviously is bad pitching but the offense can't just sleepwalk for 4 innings against a guy making his first start in a month. Put some freaking game pressure on them.

Had a decent season. Also had alot of pitchers degrees, or never revived from injury unfortunately. 2 of those stay the same or get better and its a different season imo.

Went to Omaha last year likely as the best staff left and lead by two guys in their 5th & 6th year. Would've had a second 5th year guy but Matt tore his UCL in pre season.
Shaffner certainly hasn't peaked. Dudan had a much better ACC season this year than he did last but people hyper focus on his start. Derrick Smith was a second year development guy last year too.

I have disliked Chrysler for ages. There are several on here who remember me calling for his head in like, 2022. I don't know what he does tbh

What about the guys who took big steps forward under Chrysler Evan Justice, Nick Sweeney, Sam Highfill, Derek Smith, Logan Whitaker, Shafner
We can play this game all day. These guys go to pitching labs and summer leagues and have so many people influencing them.
