Jury out on Smith, let's see if he ever recovers. Highfill never did from his injury. Yeah, Clint has had some gems. Think his overall body of work is pretty weak though

Whitaker is a good story- but lets not act like he went from bad to good. He went from above average to solid. But he was a clutch dude, no hate here. However, he deserves all the praise for not giving up.

Justice is a good one. Sweeney is a good one too.

Highfill was a freshman all league guy, so lets not act like he left as an all american. He left as a good ACC pitcher. Again, injuries jacked him up. Can't give CC credit or discredit here.

Shaffner was also good as a freshman, but he is better this year.

Auburn's starting lineup averages about 2.5 years in college, 6'1 and 211 lbs.
NC State's starting lineup averages about 2.1 years in college, 6'1 and 194 lbs.

IMO, there's no way DeCriscio and Nixon are only 160 and 162lbs, respectively. Fraasman looks bigger than 189 to me as well.

Let's not forget Highfill first year on campus was 2020. So a year being around Chrysler didn't seam bother him.

Again I think the point is. There are so many other things at play than to just simplify it down to players regressed so the pitching coach sucks.

Maybe it has more to do with the individuals than the coaching staff

Let Cooper wear it. Who cares

Pitching has been a mixed bag this year. Dudan, Consiglio and Smith were disappointing this year imo. Mahron met expectations imo. Fritton, Nance and Shaffner exceeded expectations. A lot of experience hopefully returning next season.
