It's a different conversation in a regional setting, but in a 3 game set that's why Nance has to be in the bullpen

Think the only time recently he's thrown game 1 was UVA and got smoked. Been used after Andrews/Marohn a lot.
Doesn't really matter. The box he's needed to check, IMO, is entering and working around traffic with strikeout stuff. Saw it there

Me too. He keeps making pitchers work and finding ways to get on base and has helped scrap a few runs for us. Stat sheet won't pop for him after this game but he has done a great job tonight imo.Wbtaylor said:

Nance does such a great job of changing pitch speeds and eye elevation, all the while staying in the strike zone and almost exclusively forcing you to hit his pitch. Its impressive.

Can he get 6 more outs? 89 pitches against Duke got weird late. 80 against ECU and cruised. These guys notoriously finish well.
