Went to the game today and the umps checked Marohn's glove at leave 3-4 times between innings and didn't see them doing the same with Louisville. Is this something new or a rule change?

Great bounce back win from yesterday's debacle. This series was huge. This is one that gets us ranked again this week. Think the uva and vt series wins will continue to improve with age as the season goes on. This team is maddeningly frustrating, but is finding their way and stacking series wins.

Continuing to win is obviously the best way to help the RPI. Passively - UVA & Duke need to get into the form everyone expected pre season and VT needs to keep it rolling.

ECU not being up to their normal standard doesn't help. You should see a natural uptick here shortly regardless with Clemson and UNC series incoming.

Yep. Marohn was excellent today. And Shaffner picked up right where he left off. We had 3 pitchers show up big time this weekend. It was enough to get the series. This team should be ranked next week.

We cracked it after Friday's win (up to 39) but fell back to 46 or so after Saturday. Home losses are killer in the rpi, overweighted IMO (just like road wins).

Move up 12 spots in rpi after road win at #90. Move up 0 spots after 2 of 3 from #27 at home.
