COMMIT ALERT: Hofstra Star Guard Preston Edmead Picks NC State

NC State just landed a commitment from Hofstra freshman point guard Preston Edmead.

Edmead averaged 16.1 points, 3.5 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game, starting all 35 games and earning CAA Freshman of the Year honors.  

He helped lead Hofstra to a 24-11 record and a NCAA Tourney bid where he scored 24 points and totaled four assists against Alabama.

The 6-foot-1 guard has three years of eligibility remaining and is projected to start alongside Christian Hammond in the backcourt for NC State.
