Pack 9 (3-5) returns to Doak Field at Dail Park Friday 02/28 - 03/02 to take on Canisius

Game times:

02/28 - 3 PM
03/01 - 3 PM
03/02 - 1 PM
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

We really need a sweep this weekend. It's tough to say that in baseball but we have two tough midweeks and a tough series next weekend against a consistent regional team before getting into ACC play.

small ball until it breaks free... bunt, steal bases, advance the runner, hit it the opposite way, do all the little things and itll come together. this team has to get back to the fundamentals and buy in to right the ship.

I still won't overreact as that was a run of good ball clubs, potentially 4 tournament teams likely at least 3... 0-5 sucks. The lack of offense is certainly concerning. Not real sure where the leadership will emerge from.

I think State needs to win out or drop only 1 up to VT. UNCG is sneaky good. Campbell is down. A&T gave Clemson & VCU all they could handle last weekend then gave UNC a run yesterday. That's a tough stretch that you need to win through to show some growth and gain confidence going into ACC play - which thankfully starts off slow.

IMO seems like a big start for fritton today. Not sure we can go into ACC play with a pitcher who has control issues/not effective. Maybe Avent has a super long leash for him, but we'll see

This is how he should pitch/games should be called all the time. Banging the fastball in there instead of trying to finesse. Those have been his best outings the past 3 years.
