Look, I'm not one to count my chickens before they hatch, but...
Willadsen, Fritton, Consiglio, Marohn, Peissel, Dudan, Smith, Shaffner, Lucas, and Andrews is arguably the deepest staff in the country. Not to mention that one of the freshman arms will likely emerge.
If SVD had the internal brace repair, then he also could potentially go.

no, the portal closed 7/2. no one can enter unless their coach leaves (like campbell/liberty in the last couple weeks). however, as said above, there is a 2nd window in december which is when kids essentially get cut

It could be a really excellent staff. I'm not counting on the guys that had surgery though until I hear they're throwing. Our coaching staff typically exercises an abundance of caution, and rightfully so.

I'm just speculating, but really feel like he will. He fits in that Highfill, why not give it one more, mold. He's a big time locker room guy too.
Been a lot of talented kids from SuCo recently. Keener from Pilot that played at WF is doing really well so far as a prospect for the White Sox. AJ Wilson grew up in our neighborhood/street and I used to play a lot of golf with his dad back in the day. He and his brothers were always running around and at the pool etc. Super happy for him and the family..CLTWolf said:

Just 1 in Fitz-Gerald. Tyler Head, who is ranked #48 overall on PG, went undrafted. Those were the 2 big draft risks.

Amak not getting drafted is bonkers to me. I'd take him over anyone on that UVA roster and they had a bunch of dudes picked. I know it's age got no leverage, defense etc but he's a better hitter than any of them. Baseball draft is always crazy to me
