I'm not moving any goalposts. I'm not arguing anything. I'm just saying that we very rarely have consistent pitching/depth in order to compete for ACC title/supers and when we do we've done pretty well, but those instances are few and far between. This would take some time to do with each of the 12 other ACC schools, and there will probably be some teams with better marks. It would be interesting to see where NC State under Avent stacks against all of the league competition. You could maybe add things like record versus the school and such.
I am not trying to change anyone's mind. I have opinions on NC State baseball and its leadership, which I think are well-known.
If you do itemize the situation with a breakdown like this and Avent's NC State teams are near the top, how do you justify making a change?
If I have time, and no one else does it by next weekend, maybe I will sit down and have a go at it.
