That was bad. But honestly I was never as high on last year's team as this one. I really thought this team was headed for an absolute tear to move into a host spot.

Well, ain't like this is the last series of the season. There are 15 games left to play before post season after today.

Echoing earlier sentiments that Clemson is a very dislikable team, irrespective of the results this weekend. If you do the plate stomp every now and then, fine, but doing it everytime is bush league. I don't mind celebrating, and I don't have a definitive line that is too far because it depends on the situation, but they're just too extra.

Agreed - I said it during yesterday's game, and today it seems even worse.

Also, how is their record not better than it is? They seem to be solid in the field, and hit and run well. What's been up with them up to this point in the season?

Yeah he never was good defensively but his bat was so hot in non conference you had to keep him in but the guy has looked lost at the plate in conference play.

Of course, it was late in the last game in the series, so nothing happened. I will just say that I was not impressed with the either Clemson base coach. They constantly ran their mouths and on a couple of occasions, they were running their mouths directly at State's dugout.

Stuff like that typically starts at the top, which is disappointing given the pedigree of their coach. I don't really ever remember one of our players doing stuff like that, which is one reason Elliott has always had my support. You want guys to have fun, and trash talking is a part of sports, but I want my team to have fun and still win with class.

All of their football success has changed the fan base. They used to be one of my favorite non nc state ACC teams. That is no longer the case.
