Dom started off with his off-speed stuff missing and not getting movement on his fastball. Last inning, he appeared to be settling in more, so hopefully he is back to normal in the third.CLTWolf said:

Yep. Offense has been bad. Can't keep leaving guys on base, especially when you get runners on base with no outs and can't even advance them on the bases. The approach at the plate by some of these batters has been...interesting.89_Grad said:

Clemson just looks like the better coached team. This guy has won everywhere he's been and was national COY in 2019 at Michigan. Fact they were able to land a coach of that caliber shows kind of $$$ they have coming in.

Disagree. He went to field the ball and it was outside of his glove. Did not field it cleanly. As to his thought about going to second…who knows. But he didn't field the ball cleanly

Question for you. How does a team look better coached in a game where there's been no substitutions, no pitching changes, no stolen bases, no defensive rotations, no "plays", etc?
Well, I live in south Charlotte with 3 small kids that do sht most weekends so season tickets don't make sense, now do they. But I do watch every game and try to make a series or two each year depending on my kids schedules. Clemson has money and will put it in baseball, you are definitely right about that. Their coach also got his start at Clemson as a grad assistant, so he was always partial to the program and looking to eventually make the move there.89_Grad said:

This pitcher is awful. Don't force anything. Nolan didn't get the memo but PG and Soles did
Did you miss the part where Nolan worked it to a 3-1 count? He just swung and missed at 2 strikes at that point. It was a good AB all things considered and don't look now but we just put together 3 really good ABs and came out on top on 2 of them.ClePack said:
