The elephant in the room is Mike Martin != Mike Martin Jr. His record was not good for the talent they have and Avent is the better coach.

Would our fans embrace having Tommy back? I sure hope so, and I trust Avent to make the right decision for the team if there is one.

Their AA at 3rd is a SR (covid JR) so he's gonna try to cash in on his big season I would assume.

(Trey Lipscomb committed 10 errors with a FLD% of .924 this season but he can mash the baseball).

Why bother? Promise him what he wants with some NIL money, get him on campus, then only play him at DH the next 2 years. Not like he is going to transfer down to JUCO for his final year. Just win this bidding war and get him for 2 years.

Curious that Miami isn't more involved, given the money they've been throwing around in other sports. Miami is the same distance from his hometown as FSU is.

No, but it is a factor, correct? Just like money is a factor, which Miami has plenty of. And playing with guys he knows, and I'm pretty sure I remember they have at least one IMG guy on their roster. So, as I said, it's surprising they haven't been mentioned as a possible suitor. One would reasonably expect that they would at least kick the tires.

I wouldn't be looking for IMG guys when it comes to White. It's more about Calvary Christian/travel team buddies.

he was on an elite travel team for a while and he is close with a number of those guys

all these kids know each other and talk

Outside of NIL money, was there a better platform for Tommy than NC State. I hope that sinks in. The pressure on this kid if he goes somewhere else is going to be huge

Sucks he decided to leave but it is what it is. He was fun to watch and I'm thankful he was able to get a wolfpacker at the top of the freshman record book for HRs.

LSU's defense was pretty bad this season. They're losing their 3B so he can slot right in and be all hit, no glove and the bayou bengals will be just fine with it.

They are telling him that he will play defense on both corners-It is recruiting and you will tell a family anything they want to hear to get him.

He will have every opportunity to play the infield just like he did at NC State. It is up to Tommy to stay on the field-just like NC State
