So, State finished 14-15 in the ACC, UNC finishes 15-15 in the ACC. The two teams play each other in the ACC Championship.

UNC gets the #10 overall national seed. State gets left out of the tournament.

You can't use UNC 's run as justification to jump them up to hosting, and not give State the same credit. Utterly ridiculous.
