Should know sooner than later. A lot of ECU fans are looking for someone or something to blame for the exodus. Godwin, culture, even tampering by other schools because their players are so talented.

I'd be pissed if I was Roots dad after the kid threw 75 pitches on Friday and then threw another 60 on Monday.

We don't know if that had anything to do with him entering portal or not but just odd of the timing.

Looking at Carters game logs their last six games he had less than 10 AB's. Didn't start two of their last four games and was pinch hit for in the ones he did.

Bristol is from Oak Ridge and is friends with several of the guys that play for State. Back in the fall, I was talking with his dad and he was telling me how we would love Jaxon Lucas and that Jaxon was a good kid. As a matter of fact, I sent him a text when Bristol had the winning hit against UNC earlier in the year.

With that being said, I would love for him to join the Pack!

In one of his press conferences last week, Avent said he did not like to take guys from UNC, Duke, ECU, etc but last year when A-Mak was coming to visit, he called Godwin and told him if he liked A-Mak he is going to take him. Godwin said "you're going to like him."

Now is Elliott going to have a carte blanche attitude with players from schools close? We shall see.

Probably a 1B option since he's played first for his JUCO. Got big pop in his bat too. 28 HRs over two years in JUCO.
