Opening Statement...

Ryan threw a good ball. I think it was D.J. Smith, he made a good tackle. I think I got the first down in my opinion, but I couldn’t call the call for him.

Was the plan to get you the ball this much?

Coach Drink told me during the week that he was going to try to get me the ball way more, at least 15 a game. I was pretty close….I just try to go out there and execute the plan, go out there whenever the play is called, just go out and execute whatever Coach Drink says because I know that his plan will work.

How does your hamstring feel?

It feels good. I kind of tweaked it a little bit blocking but it wasn’t nothing serious. It was no kind kind of pop or anything. I’ll be good, get a little treatment on it.

Were you wearing a sleeve when that guy tackled you?

It was kind of weird. He grabbed my band. He didn’t even tackle me. He grabbed my band but it was kind of weird. It was like a little compression on my hamstring. It was a little band so I won’t..it can keep me [interrupted]...but I was already going down. It was kind of weird though.

How do you guys handle this?

We have done been through this a lot of times. Iit is a tough loss but we have got a long season ahead of us and we know that hasn’t took us away from our team goals for this year, winning the ACC championship.

That still hasn’t took us away from our goal so, like I said earlier, I hope it is momentum to the next game. Just helping the team out, just like we came out this game, just take it to Marshall. That’s who we are looking forward to next.

What do you have to do?

We have just got to cut down the turnovers. We had a couple fumbles. We had one or two fumbles that was kind of iffy. We can’t put that on film. We have got to limit those and not give them momentum. We knew coming into the game that they was, like, top in fumbles last year so knew that was their main point coming into the game.

For us to be a championship team we have got to capitalize and execute. Think about the little details that we go over every week.
