NCAA TOURNAMENT: NC State Headed To Auburn

Conventional wisdom would say that neither of these teams are going to have much in the tank to play (presumably) UNC tomorrow. 14 high leverage innings in a regional has to be like playing two normal games. Really don't want UNC to advance, but have a hard time rooting for ECU or Tennessee. So go VCU I guess!

2 on and 2 out for UW-M in the top of the 9th.

ECU wins and advances in the winner's bracket in Chapel Hill.

Bases loaded again for Milwaukee with two outs. Auburn has thrown a lot of pitches and used 6 guys so far.

4 walks in the inning and UW-M scores. Now up 13-7 with bases still loaded.

Now bringing in their 7th pitcher of the day.

Lamar's coach and most of the staff is going to Houston once their season is over.

It's a grand weekend. My wife's birthday was yesterday and she is an ECU grad so she was happy the Pirates won. My son turned 46 today(hardly seems possible)and one of my best friend's from the NCSU Marching Band turned 70 today also. We were talking today and it's been almost 51 years since we met.

Canes have a chance to clinch and make it back to the finals. GO CANES!!

Pack has been given a gift in Auburn and hopefully they can take advantage. I won't be posting once the Canes game is on and probably before. Sounds like we might have weather issues. Shoot it might be smart to start Marhohn and if he only makes it 3 or 4 innings then we have weather that would work out great. Not likely but something to think about.
