RELEASE: Pack Adds Two Signees in Class of 2025
RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State men’s basketball head coach Kevin Keatts announced Thursday that Class of 2025 prospects RJ Greer and Zymicah Wilkins have signed and will join the Wolfpack Basketball Program next season.
RJ Greer (Dayton, Ohio./Archbishop Alter)
Four-star recruit in Class of 2025 by 247Sports and Rivals … Ranked No. 105 overall recruit by 247 Sports … Plays high school basketball at Archbishop Alter in Kettering, Ohio … As a junior averaged 16.0 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.1 rebounds per game … Made 58 three-pointers, shooting 40.3 percent from long-range … Converted 90.1 percent (73-of-81) of his free throw attempts … led Alter to OHSAA Division II State Championship … Scored 17 points in state championship game victory … Scored 24 points on 9-of-11 in state semifinal win … Named to All-Ohio Division II Second-Team … Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association Division II Southwest District First-Team … Played sophomore season at Springboro High School … Averaged 11 points and 5.8 rebounds per game before shutting down season in December because of injury.
Keatts on Greer: “I’m excited to have RJ join our program. He’s a wonderful young man that comes from a great family and he’s going to be a great addition to our locker room. He’s a high-IQ player. You can tell he’s a coach’s son. He can score the ball on all three levels, but is definitely a high-level shooter right now. He’s a winner, he won a state championship last season and I always like a player that has a winning pedigree. I think he’s a great fit for our system.”
Zymicah Wilkins (Rutherfordton, N.C./Christ School)
Consensus four-star recruit in the Class of 2025 … No. 54 overall recruit by ESPN and No. 79 overall recruit by Rivals … Plays high school basketball at Christ School in Arden, N.C. … Averaged 13.4 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.1 blocks per game last season for the Greenies … Helped lead Christ School to North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association (NCISAA) 4-A State Championship … Scored 17 points and had nine rebounds in state championship win over Charlotte Providence Day .. Was 2023-24 Co-Carolinas Athletic Association Player of the Year (shared honor with his cousin, Keenan) … Selected to 4-A All-State Team … Named to HighSchoolOT First-team All-State team … Played freshman and sophomore seasons at R-S Central High School … As a sophomore, averaged 28.0 points, 11.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.2 blocks and 1.6 steals per game … Scored over 40 points three times, including a 44-point, 20-rebound performance … Named to HighSchoolOT First-Team All-State team … Was only sophomore to make First-Team … Chosen as Daily Courier’s Player of the Year … As a freshman, led Hilltoppers to 26-3 record and averaged 15.2 points, 9.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.2 steals, and 1.8 blocks per game.

He can play with power down low, but there is also finesse to his game and he has the ability to step out and play away from the basket. Like RJ, he’s a state champion and I love to add players to our program that have a winning background. Mikey is a great young man and a wonderful addition to our locker room.”
