“It was great to be back out there on the green, moving around. Just being in some new threads, it’s a great feeling. I love it.”
“I wouldn’t say there’s been too much of an adjustment for the simple fact of the people around me. Everything has been easy with my living situation, the defense, there really hasn’t been too much of an adjustment.”
“I’m taking it day-by-day and learning the defense. The only thing I realized being here is my coach doesn’t just emphasize my position. He makes it where I need to know what everybody else is doing, which hasn’t been asked of me before. That lets me know where my help is at. It helps me.”
“All the time. [Aydan White] being a guy that’s made plays in the ACC, have him by my side, be able to ask him questions, him be able to ask me questions. It’s been lovely, I like it. He’s very smart.”
“I feel like the expectations on myself outweigh the expectations anyone else has.”
“To hold my own, lock down my side, do what’s asked of me... play my role.”
“Ball production. That’s one thing I want to capitalize on this year... he’s big on ball production. Being at Maryland I played at NC State in the Mayo Bowl so I was able to see that they play some good defense.”
