NC State Nickel Robert Kennedy: "Good Defenses Do That"

NC State nickel Robert Kennedy met with the media to discuss the upcoming matchup against Notre Dame.

“I think it went pretty good. I didn’t really have much action.”

“Anytime you win it’s a great feeling. We didn’t really play how we wanted to at all, but we still won.  Good defenses do that, you know?”

“I feel like the slot is one of the hardest positions in football, offensively and defensively. It’s definitely a mentally tough thing and physically tough also.”

“It always feels good when you play a real good game.”

“It’s the name Notre Dame. People are expecting stuff, and it’s a whole lot of tradition. They are always winning, so whenever you get a shot at them you really have to bring the whole team and play as a unit to beat them.”

“Honestly, some of the guys have been here, and with me being new and some other players being new, it’s going to take some of that game speed. We’re fine as a unit... we’ll be good.”
