The Associated Press released its 2022 All-ACC Football Team Tuesday afternoon with No. 23 NC State having seven players honored.

Placekicker Christopher Dunn, linebacker Drake Thomas, center Grant Gibson, and cornerback Aydan White were named to the AP’s First Team. Safety Tanner Ingle, linebacker Isaiah Moore, and offensive guard Chandler Zavala were given Second Team honors.

A finalist for the Lou Groza Award, Dunn finished the 2022 regular season with 479 career points, passing Clemson’s Travis Etienne for the ACC’s all-time points leader. He also holds the conference career field goal record with 93 for his career while converting 24 of his 25 attempts for the season.

Thomas led the ACC with 15 tackles behind the line of scrimmage for a loss of 61 yards. He also amassed 90 total tackles, 6.5 sacks for a loss of 41 yards, 23 quarterback hurries, and four passes broken up.

Gibson recorded 38 pancake blocks while playing 643 snaps in just 10 games this season. Unfortunately, Gibson missed the final two games of the season due to an injury sustained in the Wolfpack’s home season finale versus Boston College.

White finished second in the conference in interceptions with four, including an 84-yard pick six versus Texas Tech. He also tallied 41 total tackles, four tackles for a loss of 17 yards, one eight-yard sack, and eight pass breakups.

Ingle finished second on the team in tackles behind Thomas with 73, 6.5 of which were behind the line of scrimmage for a loss of 16. He also picked off two passes, broke up two more, pressured the quarterback eight times, and recorded a half-sack for a loss of one yard.

Moore drilled opponents in the backfield for 13.5 tackles for a loss of 49 yards, another statistic second on the Pack defense behind Thomas. He finished the regular season with 71 total tackles, three sacks for 22 yards, six quarterback pressures, and three passes broken up.

Heading into the game versus North Carolina, Zavala played 680 snaps on offense while recording 30 pancake blocks. He was also named a Midseason All-American by The Athletic earlier in the season.
