With a 78-58 win during head coach Wes Moore's return to Chattanooga on Friday night, the 10th-ranked NC State women's basketball team (12-0) achieved a significant milestone by becoming just the 31st program in the history of NCAA Division I women's basketball to reach the 900-win threshold.

The Wolfpack never trailed on Friday evening and led for 39:10 of the game's 40 minutes.

Freshman Elissa Cunane led all players with 19 points on 7-9 shooting. She was joined in double figures by Grace Hunter (17) and Kiara Leslie (12). With 6:56 remaining in the fourth quarter, Hunter surpassed 1,000 career points and currently sits at 1,003 in her third season of collegiate basketball.

The Wolfpack nearly doubled up Chattanooga on the boards, out-rebounding the Mocs 45-23. Leslie and Kayla Jones each grabbed eight rebounds.

The ninth-ranked and unbeaten NC State women's basketball team (14-0, 1-0 ACC) continued its perfect start to a season on Thursday night by defeating Duke 63-51 on Kay Yow Court inside James T. Valvano Arena at Reynolds Coliseum. The win tied NC State's best start in program history, a 14-0 mark set by the 1999-2000 team.

Just before the closing minute of the game, Hunter peeled off to break a full-court press. After receiving an outlet pass from Konig she went down with an apparent right leg injury.

"I don't know yet, but it doesn't look good," Moore said. "Like I said [the win] is very bittersweet."
