Top 10 PLAYS: No. 9 Harmon's Catch vs. Pittsburgh

This week we started a month-long feature at Inside Pack Sports where we look back at NC State's top offensive and defensive plays from the 2017 season.

No. 9 in our list of the Top Ten offensive plays for NC State from the 2017 season is this outstanding catch by wide receiver Kelvin Harmon in the Wolfpack's win at Pittsburgh.
One of several contested catches Harmon made, and you know he's on this list again, but we really liked this grab from the PIttsburgh win. Harmon's ball-skills are elite and it's a major reason why he's one of the top young wide receivers in the country.
At 6-foot-3 and nearly 220 pounds he's able to go over the top of defenders and make tough, contested catches. He is a guy who profiles as a big-time NFL wide receiver prospect, and it's easy to see why.
On this catch you see Harmon go up high-point the football. His timing on jump-balls is unreal, and he always puts himself in position to make the catch. Once his hands are on the ball, it is his.
There were three plays like this from Harmon we could have used, including his grab vs. Louisville and his catch along the sideline against North Carolina. You're splitting hairs because of how similar they were, but this catch was deeper down the field and shows you every trait he has.
The timing... the leaping ability... the strong hands.
Harmon is poised to have a great junior season, and No. 9 on our list, his catch at Pittsburgh, was one of his best plays from the 2017 season.
