The No. 2 national recruit Victoria Osuigwe has signed her National Letter of Intent to join the NC State women's tennis program starting in the fall of 2025. Osuigwe is the highest ranked U.S. recruit in NC State women's tennis program history.

For the third straight season, fourth overall, head coach Simon Earnshaw has locked in a top 10 recruit. Freshman Mia Slama was the No. 5 recruit out of the 2024 class, Maddy Zampardo was ranked No. 9 in the 2023 class and Abigail Rencheli came in at No. 9 in 2020.
"Obviously, Tori's parents, Jessica and Desmond, have done an amazing job themselves, have unique insight into this process and fully understand what it takes," added Earnshaw. "Tori will bring tremendous experience and great energy to the program. I expect her to make an immediate impact in the ACC and across the landscape of college tennis. Go Pack!"
Osuigwe is the No. 2 ranked Blue Chip recruit in the class of 2025. She was a doubles finalist at the 2024 USTA 18's National Hard Courts and had a successful 2023 season, winning doubles at the W25 Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and was a runner-up in doubles with future teammate Gabriella Broadfoot at the W25 Bethany Beach, DE. Osuigwe was also a singles quarterfinalist at the 2018 USTA 18s National Hard Courts.
Osuigwe was a nine-time ITF Pro Circuit Doubles semifinalist and three-time ITF Pro Circuit Singles quarterfinalist. Her highest rankings are the following: No. 673 in WTA Singles and No. 377 in the WTA Doubles.
Osuigwe is a Bradenton, Florida native and a part of an athletic family as the youngest of three children. Her father, Desmond, played tennis at Jackson State, her mother, Jessica, played softball in college, her sister, Whitney, is a WTA professional and her brother, Deandre, played basketball at Florida A&M.
She chose NC State because she felt confidence in the coaching staff and the support of her goal in playing professional tennis. She believes the coaching staff will be able to improve her development to ensure success, and felt a connection to NC State from the beginning.
