NC State remained undefeated over the weekend, edging Texas Woman's University 196.675-196.600 on the road after securing a home victory over Ohio State on Friday night.

The Wolfpack claimed all four individual titles, including a shared title on floor with Pioneer Sophie Hernandez, in its seventh consecutive win over Texas Woman's. The night featured standout performances, including Meg Adler's season-best 9.850 on both vault and beam. Caroline Volk secured her second straight event title after matching her career-high 9.925 on bars, while Madeline Reid earned her first podium finish of the season, placing third on bars with a 9.875. Additionally, Ashley Knights matched her season-best 9.925 on vault to claim first place.

The Pack will return to action on March 14 for its final meet of the regular season in a quad-meet against George Washington, Maryland, and Towson in Washington, D.C. The meet will be streamed live on ESPN+.

The 19th-ranked NC State gymnastics team closed out the regular season with a win at the George Washington Quad Meet Friday evening at the Charles E. Smith Center, defeating Towson and Maryland, in addition to the Colonials.

The evening saw senior Lucy Lehman make her season debut on vault with a 9.775, while Brooke Smead competed in the beam lineup and matched her career-high 9.875. NC State tallied three individual victories: Chloe Negrete posted a season-best 9.950 on vault, Katie Harper scored a 9.875 on bars, and Negrete finished with a 9.950 on beam to win the event title. NC State also posted the highest score on bars and beam out of all the teams, and tied Townson for the highest score on floor.

Vault (49.200)
Meg Adler led off the vault lineup with a 9.850, followed by Ava Myers, who posted a season-best 9.850, tying for second with Adler. Negrete anchored the event with a 9.900 to claim the event title.

Bars (49.125)
On bars, NC State remained solid with Madeline Reid, Myers, and Caroline Volk each earning a 9.800. Elle Hadrick added a 9.850 for second place, and Harper rounded out the lineup with a 9.875 to win the event.

Beam (49.150)
Smead continued her strong contributions to the beam lineup, competing for the fourth consecutive meet and matching her career-high 9.875 to tie for second overall. Senior Peyton Childs followed with a season-best 9.800, and Negrete secured the win for NC State with a 9.950, marking her second victory of the evening.

Floor (49.200)
Adler started the rotation strong with a 9.825 and Hadrick later contributed the same score. Krista Zultevicz, Ashley Knight, and Negrete all posted 9.850 to finish the Pack's lineup.

THE STAGE IS SET

NC State's highest event score of the evening came on bars, where Elle Hadrick delivered a career-high 9.900 from the No. 5 spot in the lineup. Katie Harper, anchoring the rotation, also scored a 9.900. Madeline Reid matched her season-best with a 9.875.

Beam (48.775)

Chloe Negrete posted the Pack's highest beam score, earning a 9.850 in the anchor position. Brooke Smead contributed a 9.775, while Peyton Childs added a 9.750 to round out the top three.

Floor (49.225)

Hadrick and Knight each recorded a 9.900, securing spots on the All-ACC Championship Team for the event. Hadrick's performance marked her second career-high of the evening. Zultevicz posted a 9.800 to complete the top three for the Pack.

NC State's gymnastics team capped off its 2025 season with a third-place finish at the Tuscaloosa Regional on Friday night, scoring a 196.275 at Coleman Coliseum.

Florida claimed the regional title with a 198.225, while Oregon State took second with a 197.050. Both teams advanced to the NCAA semifinals. Clemson finished fourth with a 195.875.

Vault (49.100)

Meg Adler led off the rotation with a 9.850. Lucy Lehman and Lauren Wright each posted career highs, earning scores of 9.800 and 9.850, respectively.

Bars (48.850)

Caroline Volk paced the Wolfpack on bars with a 9.875. Madeline Reid and Ava Myers followed with scores of 9.800.

Beam (49.200)

NC State's top event of the evening came on beam, where all six gymnasts hit their routines. Adler matched her career high with a 9.850, followed by Brooke Smead with a 9.850. Chloe Negrete anchored with a team-high 9.900.

Floor (49.125)

Ashley Knight led the floor rotation with a 9.875. Elle Hadrick added a 9.850 and Krista Zultevicz scored a 9.825.


The 2025 season concluded with a series of remarkable achievements for NC State Gymnastics. The team set a program record for its highest season-opening score with a 195.825, surpassing Towson, and embarked on a five-week stretch of consecutive scores over 196, including a season-best 197.025 in a victory over in-state ACC rival North Carolina.

Throughout the season, several athletes earned prestigious ACC Weekly honors: Ashley Knight was named Specialist of the Week twice, Syniya Thomas was named Newcomer of the Week twice, and Chloe Negrete earned Specialist honors four times and Gymnast of the Week once. Additionally, Knight and Elle Hadrick were selected for ACC Championship Team Honors, with Knight earning spots on vault and floor, while Hadrick was recognized for her performances on bars and floor.

Negrete etched her name in NC State history by becoming the first gymnast in a decade to earn Regular Season All-American honors from the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association. Her outstanding season also earned her a second consecutive AAI Award nomination, recognizing her as one of the nation's top gymnasts. A 14-time all-conference honoree and a nine-time all-conference championship honoree, Negrete led the team with 24 podium finishes and 13 individual victories, capping off an unforgettable final year with the Wolfpack.

Throughout the season, NC State remained in the top 25 of the nation's best collegiate teams, marking another successful chapter in the program's history.
