Would have really felt bad for Rory if he had somehow let this one get away from him, but that 2nd 9 from Rosie? Wow. Would have been almost as happy for him if he would have won as I was for Rory.

Something only 5 people before him have ever done in history, and since I was only 3 and 4 when Player and Nicklaus achieved it, only the 2nd ever that I got to watch it happen live (TV).

I agree!! I wasn't pulling for Rory; however, it was a momentous occasion!

Now, what's all this noise about him not speaking with Bryson?

I haven't watched or read anything non-NC State related "sports" since the tournament ended last night... I guess I'll have to surf around a little and see what you're talking about.

Nothing on ESPN.com about anything like that yet either... yeah, that would be disappointing if something like that happened.

Very disappointing if true.

All Ive been able to see is a quick quote from Bryson that they didn't speak. What I don't know is what question was asked, what was said prior to the one snippet from Bryson or after. My opinion... this is just a media hyped nothing...

Tiger never spoke to his playing partners during a round back when he was in his prime. Especially in majors. If we're talking "during the round" then that isn't an issue AFAIC... if he didn't shake his hand afterwards then that's an entirely different story.

I don't necessarily agree with you... That said, I do think this is a lot to do about nothing.

You don't agree with me that Tiger didn't engage with his opponents during a round when he was in his prime? Or you think if McIlroy did that yesterday, it is in poor form... or a foul, so to speak?

I heard a story about Bill Haas playing with Tiger when Bill was pretty young. Bill was trying to talk to Tiger and he wouldn't talk back and after a couple of failed attempts Tiger told Jay the only thing he was concerned about was wearing his a$$ out on the course. Bill said when they finished and went to the clubhouse Tiger was very very nice and was giving him advice, tips etc. He was just in the zone on the course.

Bolded. Now, they can do what they want to do. I find it interesting that people don't speak during a round...
