Car for next year.

The number 24 is going to look great on that vehicle... especially from behind where all the other drivers will get to see it from on a regular, ongoing basis.

lol...I'm sure. Although, I've been to few races over the years and that actually happened.

New NASCAR entrant @RamTrucks will have an all-star truck next season that will be filled on a rotated basis by big or interesting drivers in motorsports.
Ram is calling it a free agent driver program and says the names will be revealed on the Monday heading into each race.

Now that really sounds interesting if I'm reading it correctly... sounds like one of their teams could have a Kyle Busch driving it one race, a Dale, Jr. the next, etc... now I realize that it won't be names like that because of manufacturing ties, but it still sounds like it might be cool.

I've heard Tony's name thrown around. My fear is that Ram is going to throw Cletus MacFarlane, a Haile Deegan as some sort of " All Star ". I'm trying to figure out who they could use that isn't already in a current OEM? But I agree with you, sounds cool.

Glass' old haunts, I believe...

After Wilson County Speedway closed (at the fairgrounds) this was the place to be. The Hooters Cup (forgot what it became later) had a stop there. I hated they stopped running there weekly.

Will be interesting to see Keelan Harvick there. Does the kid have any racing ability or is it Daddies money and equipment?
It's supposed to be hard. If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. The hard... is what makes it great.

The old Hooters series is now the Cars Tour I believe. I never went to Wilson County.

It was a sweet old 1/2 dirt tract. A legit 1/2 mile. And of course, parkers BBQ was always the pre race meal

If you consider 13 that old I guess so. I do remember him as a tiny lad riding in is dads car after a win

Keelan most definitely has some of the best equipment out there. Heck, Rodney at one point was working on those cars before Jr hired him. With that said, the kid is doing well in fast equipment, others in the past had trouble doing it.

Josh Berry and Lee Pulliam are the headliners for sure.

Keelan's first Late Model Stock race I believe. He's been pretty good in the Pro Late Model this year.

Jamie Caudill making a return. That's pretty cool.

Sunday is supposed to be about 60 degrees. Could be worth the drive out there.

I had forgotten about this. 35 years ago Dale Earnhardt excepted his awards with a cast on his hand because he kicked some guys ass for hunting on his property.

Rained out today. Race tomorrow at 1.

Gragson didn't qualify
Erik Jones didn't qualify
Kyle Busch had to win a last chance race just to get in.

Tough race to win

Pretty cool find. Same exact date my wife and I became engaged... got married one year later to the day on the 50th Anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor.

Should be pretty easy to remember your anniversary. We got engaged on August 16th. The anniversary of Elvis dying. Easy to remember LOL

Jeffrey Kessler asked Steve Phelps if he meant he wanted to kill SRX with the "stick a knife in this trash series" message.

Phelps said he was "frustrated that our owners were racing in a series that was using sponsors, colors and livery that looked an awful lot like NASCAR."

Anyone younger than us will probably get a good laugh out of this one, but it used to be as simple as opening the front door, picking up the paper off the front steps, opening it, and reading the headline at the top of the front page - then subtracting 50 from whatever number it said...

Breaking news from Nascourt: AI Overview

Yes, NASCAR reached a settlement in its major antitrust lawsuit with 23XI Racing (Michael Jordan's team) and Front Row Motorsports on December 11, 2025, ending a bitter 14-month legal fight just as the trial was underway in Charlotte; terms remain confidential, but it resolves the dispute over the new charter system and revenue sharing, a major win for the industry.
