The Fayetteville, N.C., native shot even-par 70 in the first round and followed it up with one-over par 71 in the second and third round to finish at two-over par for 54 holes. The performance was Oxendine's first top-five finish of the season and second top-10 finish.
Nick Mathews and Carter Graf were next for the Pack in a tie for 22nd place. Both players shot under par in the third round on Tuesday, carding one-under par 69 to finish the event seven-over par.
Michael Vick and Ethan Choi playing as an individual finished in a tie for 38th place. Vick carded rounds of 73 in the first and third rounds while Choi improved every round of the event, moving from 77 to 73 and finally carding a 71 in the final round.
Cade McLaughlin rounded out the NC State lineup in a tie for 59th place.
NC State finished the tournament in a tie for seventh place. Auburn won the event by one shot over ETSU while tournament-host Wake Forest finished in third place.
The Pack is back in action Friday, March 15 when it opens play at three-day Schenkel Invitational in Statesboro, Ga.
