Well that's disappointing

Wow. Hopefully we can find out why? I was excited about his future, was an early enrollee.

And to him, I'm sure. An injury that doesn't get better -- earthshattering for a young athlete who puts his future on ability to return.

Prayers for the young man. I hope he is able to finish his education and, perhaps, channel his ability by going into coaching or something else of interest.

Doubtful. I'm not sure it's anyone's business to be honest

fairly certain this is related to his knee. He re-injured it during the spring I do believe. Too bad, because he had loads of talent and speed.

well having a general reason and not a specific reason I think the fans deserve to know.

- Like was it a violation of team rules
- Injury
- Did he leave on his own accord for personal reasons

....can't be academic as he made honor roll his first semester.

Remember, these are no longer kids....adulthood is reached once they hit 18. Us fans have collectively poured tons of money through tickets sales, sports apparel, and contributions into NCSU Athletics. Without that, and these guys don't have a sport to play that gets them a scholarship in the first place....so a general idea of why he is gone would be nice to know.

He is gone because he didn't do what he was supposed to do and Coach D removed him from the team. Doesn't matter how much money anyone gives, just like paying taxes, some things aren't public knowledge and won't be.

The Univ is under no obligation what so ever to explain or give reasons to the fans. None.

Because I honestly didn't think you would make such a big deal out of it by saying you give this much money etc but I as wrong.

Listen, I am sorry for being an ahole. Just that he was my favorite recruit from Pack#17 and this one just stings. That is all.

Regardless of the reason for his departure, I wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors. I hope he fully recovers from his injuries and even if football is not in his future, I hope he gets his college degree. I was definitely excited about him when he committed. Thankfully, the team has good depth at the WR position.

If you want to win, you keep a guy like this. Take a page out of the SEC, unless his transgressions were completely out of hand. Anything borderline or medium-ish, lift the rug and start sweeping. One of our few 4 star recruits.

I applaud all coaching decisions that maintain high standards of player conduct.

It is a team sport, and teamwork requires trust and responsibility.
