This is what I mean when I say he has potential, this is all from one game against good competition on national tv this past year. The team he went against had 2 top 50 players and Phillips matchup has offers from Texas tech, and cal this past month. He finished this game with 26 points 20 rebounds. He's also dropped 15 pounds this offseason.

Just talked on Twitter dm's with one of those national recruiting guys and he said he wasn't told who will land mj rice but he was told it "could surprise some folks". Also said 50/50 chance he goes pro or college route that rice is just making his backup decision for college. At this point for me I don't think it's us because we didn't get a visit but that would definitely surprise some folks. He's been posting a lot of adidas stuff though so adidas might just give him a bag

Lot of angry fans and not off to a good recruiting start. If the season is a dud and the recruiting doesn't look promising it's realistic that this could be his last year in Raleigh. Especially since he's already looking around this past year
