When do you predict we might get any good news on the recruiting front, our first commit?
And where are we in the cycle generally? Is it sort of a dead period and no one is getting commits right now or are we lagging behind other schools?

Fatts billups will announce his top 6 today. Likely will be nc state, Pitt, vcu plus 3 others. Clemson, ole miss, vt, and Wichita state have been frequently at team loaded va games as well and have offered

Don't like seeing those SEC teams listed with NIL now in place...

Only teams on this list that I have seen at games this summer is nc state and vcu. Not saying others haven't been to see him in person but us and vcu are the main schools. Pitt is also up there because he's visited us and Pitt unofficially this summer

Mj rice currently visiting Pitt. We will receive a visit "by October" is what I'm told. Would rather back off but at this point taking his commitment would be a better risk than competing against mid major schools for a bad sf

I'd take that class if you offered it to me today, but at some point we've got to get a few high end guys like a Gortman, or like the 2 recent offers of Howard (no chance) or JJ Starling.

NC State: "Their defensive intensity stands out. They're defense translates into offense by getting steals and getting easy points on fast breaks. They let their players play in the sets but the defense really flows into the offense. It's also cool how they recruit a lot of my teammates. I like the idea of having a chance to team up with some of them some day."

He also plans on visiting each school before deciding. Has taken unofficals to us Pitt and vcu and will likely take officials as well
