UVA doesn't have any power forwards on their roster he will have plenty of time to score

What do i need to know about this guy?

I have heard both good and bad things about Casey. The goods include that he will play great defense, he had a good shot in high school, and was a top 50 recruit. I also like how he is a bit bigger than our other guards.

The bad include when he was in college, he played poorly and lost complete confidence in his shot.

Just like grant, both have high risk/high rewards as long as we can tap into that. I would take this recruit.

However, this does mean a few things. Number one, our need for a big is our highest need right now. We need a big in order to compete and without we may struggle. Ross needs time to adjsut and needs to get more physical. This means that we may be out of the running for Jayden Gardner and he goes to Virginia.

However, as mentioned we do need another big badly so this may confirm someone else is planning on leaving the program. I hope ebe or gibson but wouldn't be surprised with a guard since we just took casey.

morsell is super built (6'3 196 - for reference cam is 6'3 175) and a really good athlete. he was never a great fit for uva's slow-paced system and like gantt should be a much better fit here. top 60 recruit, was billed as a big time scorer out of high school and shot 16-36 from mid range this year so the outside shot *should* come around at some point. if nothing else he's going to be a very good defender on the perimeter

so basically at this point we've just upgraded two spots: braxton > morsell and farrar > gantt. ESPECIALLY on the defensive end

I think theres too much pressure on him not to make room for Gardner. Fleming on the other hand im not sure is a better solution than any other guards on our roster especially longterm.

I thought Fleming has only one more year of eligibility.

I feel like UVa's style of play is catching up to them. What kid looks at that offense and gets excited? Kids just arent gonna stick around and develop for 4-5 years anymore

two things to take from this baby t grew or Breon isn't 6'. I honestly think that baby t is 6'4 or 6'5 because when he was standing next to Lucas Taylor last night at the all star game they were basically eye level and Taylor is listed at 6'6

I am high on smith. I think he can be a great player and he has good height. But he needs to hit the weight room fast lol and gain like 30 pounds of muscle. Playing in college won't be as easy as getting past people in high school. I think he will struggle to drive it in like seabron but in year two he will take a huge leap

Question, if Nc State misses out on gardner, do we have any other big men we are after? I think we just need that one more strong and physical big man and we are good to go

I mean all signs pointing at there being a lot of movement. Surprised we didnt hear anything this week. I imagine Thomas Allen is gone but probably some more people leaving as well.
