I don't care what level of competition you're playing against. Dropping 50 is no small feat, doing it against a team that is more talented than your team truly amazing. Kid just has an "it" factor. He is gonna be a star for us.

I love that many of the same people drooling over Baby T are wishing we axe Coach Keatts during a Covid year. ..as if they aren't joined at the hip.

"PI: You've recently picked up some interest from Duke, right?
MJ: Yep, well I used to go to their games when they'd play NC State. I used to go watch some of their games, see how they operate. Nolan Smith, Coach Scheyer, those are the people from Duke that I have a relationship with and have been growing a relationship with. NC State, they've always been with me since 7th or 8th grade, they've always been with me so they're at the top of the food chain, the top of my list right now because of their loyalty and how much interest they've shown in me. Just based off how they brought me in as one of their own, like I was already on the team type of love. I really do appreciate all the schools looking out for me, all the schools are great programs in my eyes all of them. "
Not sure I agree.Packfan8 said:Packfan8 said:nryanh94 said:Packfan8 said:
Keatts needs to go all out on mj rice
If we can land Rice and Epps. Idgaf what happens with the rest of 2022Hmmmmm
Bringing this back up, seems less like Duke more like us
Oh hell yeah. Give me gardner.Dunlow66 said:
One thing to remember
Once players can transfer without penalty, you will see many rosters have openings that were not expected before this recruiting cycle began.
There is gonna be a LOT of talent out there.
Im still holding out hope that Jayden Garden wants to play in the ACC and at NC State. Maybe not having to sit a season could get him to give it a shot.
Ya, the "I know where I wanna go but gonna still wait" is very suspect to me. Duke and the other blue bloods have a tendency to easily change kid's mind at these pivotal points.ClePack said:Oh hell yeah. Give me gardner.Dunlow66 said:

I'm not holding out hope for Rice

Im starting to think we need more than just a few recruits.
With the transfer rule now 'wide open', I hope Coach uses this as a chance to make up for some previous recruiting missteps(Hall, Lecque) and misses.
Anyone that moves on(other than Shak, Manny and maybe Hayes) is part of the problem right now.
I'd take a 'do over' compared to watching what Ive seen this season
Seabron has really disappointed me this year. I thought we would get more(when he plays) from a guy 3 years removed from his graduating HS class and with a year in the system under his belt. Something just isnt there. I think he might not be able to maximize his game at the ACC level.nryanh94 said:Dunlow66 said:

Keep Manny, Skak, Hayes, Seabron and the 3 incoming guys. Scrap the rest.

The natural talent isnt enough to overcome the lack of size(for a PF) and lack of an outside shot(for a wing) and lack of ballhanding skills for a PG in the ACC
I dont want to push him out, but he may realize this isnt the spot for him. We had a LOT of PT to give this season with COVID and injuries and he still sat most of the time.nryanh94 said:Dunlow66 said:Seabron has really disappointed me this year. Ehhh, I'm not taking to much from the newcomers this year with lack of non conference slate and the 2 pauses. I still think the potential is to high to push him out
Agree 100%. Not many ACC players on this roster atm. Hell, why did we even recruit farrer? Gibson? Hayes and shak don't look good, but they weren't very highly rated players. Total reset might be neededDunlow66 said:
