Are you referring to Quincy's tweet from a few days back, or something else?

Sounds like this kid is about to blow upPackfan8 said:
Lucas Taylor from heritage has been offered by Vandy. Could be an option on the wing for 2021. " Houston, Xavier, Marquette, Tulsa, Murray State, Stanford, Howard, and Notre Dame have all been in talks as of late."
Good news or bad news? Any clues??ClePack said:nryanh94 said:ClePack said:

Something else. Could be today. Let's wait and see

Wheeler is 'Manny with an offensive game'nryanh94 said:Packfan8 said:when Ross committed last night I thought that would make wheeler not an option but they are totally different players. Ross plays like wants to be a 4 while wheeler is a true big.nryanh94 said:Packfan8 said:
Ross seems like a good example of why we should be glad there wasn't aau this year. He could have really blown up with more offers but it's pretty incredible to beat out schools that were so close to him
I'm hoping the same thing helps us land Wheeler
Let's put it this way, Wheeler is 50 lbs heavier and is gonna dunk everything and block every shot you throw at him. Would be perfect to split minutes with Manny

Do you have a general idea of the timeline for his decision?
Maryland is desperate for size, any size, to add to that roster.Packfan8 said:
Off topic but I did not expect the list to already be this big. I'm sure most of these schools aren't gonna offer and if that's the case he would be great at UNCW

Provided that all the 2020 commits follow through and attend to play for us this coming year, how many spots would we currently be looking to fill for 2021? We have two verbals thus far?

Comes from a long family of freak athletes: Kwe Parker (half brother); Malik and Telligence Johnson (played around Terry Sanford, both had off court issues) and JJ Smith (was commited to Ole Miss, but couldn't qualify). From everyone I've spoken to he's a really good kid with good grades, and unlike Kwe is very coachable.
As far as his game goes, he has become a really solid shooter, is a freak of an athlete for his age, distributes the ball really well and plays well beyond his years. Most kids his age with his athleticism are very run and gun but he knows how to slow the game down and play within the offense if necessary. Kid also has a killer instinct which is something I love to see. The watched him play in the round Cape Fear got eliminated and he had a series of plays that were just crazy for him being a freshman. The opposing teams fans were chanting over rated to him, so he stole the ball got fouled and hit both free throws, then stole it again came down and hit a three, then his teammate turned it over and he ran down and pinned the ball on the backboard and then went down and drew a foul and hit 2 more FTs. 7 unanswered points, 2 steals and a pin down block in the playoffs, on the road while be heckled as a freshman. I love it!

As long as he's not like his brother kwe. Kwe was a really freakish athlete but was a problem kid
Man talk about wasted potential with Malik and Telligence. Those Terry Sanford teams were really good with them, Mark Gilbert (Duke CB), and Isaiah Stallings (our Safety). Won the State Championship and then lost to Lavar Batts' team in the State title the next year. That game ended with Malik and Telligence's Dad getting in a fight at midcourt.nryanh94 said:Packamylase said:

Interesting that Kwe's brother is at Cape Fear, they were always horrible when I was down there. I'll ask around about him
That's an impressive 9th grader! Hope he keeps his head on straight and fully benefits from the gifts he's been given.nryanh94 said:
I've mentioned him in the past, but really really hope we get on this kid early. He's gonna be a stud:
