"The three programs that have solidified official visits dates are Miami, NC State and Pitt. Kevin Keatts will get the first chance to impress the big man next weekend. From there, Hugley will head to Miami on September 20, and then complete the month at Pitt on September 27."

On September 10, both Penn State and WVU will complete in-home visits with Hugley and his family. He has already taken unofficial visits to each program within the past year and could also take an official visit to either or both this fall.








A commitment date is not set which means that a November signing is still iffy. Rather, Hugley has remained patient with the recruiting process and will cut his list one final time which will be surrounded by in-home and official visits.

The next month will make or break this recruiting class with OVs from Deivon Smith, John Hugley, Josh Hall, Cam Hayes, and Shakeel Moore. I feel like we need to land 2 of those guys to have a solid class.

It's interesting seeing the trend of Keatts wanting to get the first visit for all of these guys, hopefully he can make an impression and lock a few up.

Can someone describe Hugleys game to me. His stats aren't bad on the Nike circuit he played 17.6 minutes per game and averaged 9 points and nearly 7 rebounds in those games

a bruiser. Used to be 40 pounds heavier. Still, has some good hands and knows how to use his body on the inside. Decent little mid range shot. Strong offensive rebounder and has some nice post moves but still needs some improvement in his footwork. Very efficient scorer.

Moves better than you might expect but still a center in our offense.

also said to be still growing. Could max out at 6'10 or so.

He's got a whole lot of good offers but none from blue bloods. Does have a CB to Miami on his 247 page.

If his official visit goes well this could get interesting

You can start taking visits in the beginning of your junior year now so not necessarily but he's definitely available to reclassify

Can you guys expand on Carter Whitt's game? How does he compare to Shak Moore and Cam Hayes?

When will Hugley & Smith be added to the Watchlist, while Springer, Bridges, Miller, & Murrell have all but eliminated State, but are still listed? Hugley & Smith have been offered for a while by Keatts.

I'd say Whitt's game is strong in areas that Moore is weaker in(Natural passing skills, solid outside shot)

and weak in areas Moore excells(athleticism, strength and toughnes, defensive effort and intensity)

This is James' site, literally no one on this particular thread wrote articles or do any kind of publishing on this site. If the watchlist is that big of a deal for you then take it to James, you can private message him. But complaining about it on this thread isn't going to do anything.

If you want a watchlist my current guess would be something along these lines:

1. Shakeel Moore (OV scheduled)
2. Josh Hall (ov scheduled)
3. Cam hayes (ov scheduled)
4. Cam Thomas (has taken ov)
5. John Hugley (ov scheduled)
6. Deivon Smith (ov scheduled)
7. Henry Coleman (working on ov; in his final 5)
8. Mark Williams (likley a long shot)

Then you've got guys like Tristan Maxwell and Javarzia Belton that is guess we're actively evaluating; and then you have Carter Whitt. Additionally you have Calhoun releasing his top 5 soon but we don't know anything there

Seems a pretty nice fit in KK's offense. He could play a similar role as Braxton does now. Can slide off the ball and be an additional ball handler on the floor

Strutter is a loon but seriously how hard is it for the powers that be to keep a semi competent watch list. Just delete it off the site.

Most of it is also provided right here...and some of it is sooner than Premium.

Guess we could always move this thread to Premium and get James and Co. to keep it updated, but honestly most all the info finds its way here in a matter of days(or less) anyway.
