For all the talk of UK coming in and snatching up Keldon Johnson, I am still hearing a lot of 'Texas' buzz on this one....and a little bit of concern by Johhson's family about distance. Also worries over what the UK roster will look like by the time the spring signing period rolls around.

Kansas did an 'in home' visit with David Mccormack's mother in VA this week.
Dont think they are leading at this point, maybe even slowplaying Big Dave like Duke seems to be.
This one could get interesting if Mccormack decides to commit in the fall. I think it could help us as Kansas and Duke have others ahead of him.

Kind of seems like we are in a bit of a holding pattern here. Some rumors we will push soon for an OV and 'in home' with Jairus. Still think Jericole Hellems may be the higher priority at the hybrid SF/PF position that Keatts likes to employ.hunwolf said:

Lol - I've said the exact same thing! He does look a lot like a more muscular Cozell. Excited that he's coming to State. Now we just need Bailey 2.0, Whitt 2.0, and Lowe 2.0.

1. he follows the ball handler to the block and is ready to catch the ball
2. when he catches the ball he does not power dribble.
3. he presents himself in a way that makes it easy for the ball handler to get him the ball
4. when he catches it up high, the ball stays up high
5. nice little hook shot there. again, from keeping it up high
He looks pretty skilled and confident.

Joey really flashes during manny's highlight tape. He looks so athletic and I know he's a great shooter.
