I'm not sure yet, the baby girls 22nd Birthday is the next day...so, I'm leaning towards something outta the crockpot. I'll post the decision closer to gameday. However, this is the leader in the clubhouse at the moment.

Sounds good. We pick up some local really good eastern bbq and freeze it during the year, to re-heat during football and for dinner.

I've been doing those 12oz curls all summer to get in shape for tailgate season. Really excited to have a strong showing for opening day!

Clearly y'all rich folks don't park at Gibbons with its 5 PM weekday tailgate start times.

For 20 years we've loved Gibbons because the large grassy field that our kids/we can set up cornhole in, throw the football without worrying about kids playing in traffic, etc. but the tailgate times are shorter for weekday games and the walk is a lot longer.

We all started parking there before having kids; now we've all got kids in college (or close) so it may be time to slide over into one of the closer lots so we can tailgate beside Alex.

Changing mine for the Pirates. Going with a Jimmy Buffett theme.

Cheeseburger on a Pare of Fries. Basically a play on nachos (and Cheeseburger in Paradise) with double-fried french fries instead of chips, cheeseburger (no bread) on top with all the fixins.

Thursday/Friday games are the best IF you win them. Then you have all weekend to watch carnage.

If you lose it, and if you lose a game you should've won, it makes the other games that weekend way less fun.

Thursday tailgates are always a little difficult. Might have to keep it simple and go brats/peppers/onions to ring in the new season. Quick, easy, and just smells like football season.

Thinking of switching gears to a Slider station...we've got the 3 crock crockpot...so 3 different Sliders to slide by and make some and slide back to the recliner.

To piggy back on what I'm doing just have a crockpot of browned/seasoned beef, shredded cheese, some chopped Mount Olive dill pickles, and a bottle of thousand island. Imitation Big Mac sliders are always a hit!
It appears my hypocrisy knows no bounds.

shredded chicken, marinara sauce, diced onion and green pepper set crock on high for 30 mins, then lift lid turn to low and add shredded parm to thicken...lid it and cook on low 1.5 hours.

Keeping the menu simple with burgers/brats/dogs this week but will be breaking out the new tailgate trailer this year. Finishing touches on it today mounting an "ornament" on the grill (repurposed hitch cover).

If you've parked in Westchase or the old TX lots before, you've seen us and will again this year. Tomorrow though I traded up to be in Trinity to avoid the 5pm limits.

This sounded so fantastic that I had to copy it completely. Pollo Asado has been marinading in the fridge in garlic-citrus adobo sauce since last night.

I'll give you credit when the grilling accolades start rolling in. Got fresh salsa, guac, beans, veggie tray, and brownies coming from the rest of the tailgate crew, and plenty of tasty bevvies fired up.
