Many left VA for more land in NC and many of those left for more land in TN, SC, GA, LA, TX and elsewhere.....land grants. Voting....you're supposed to register to vote....correct? I assume citizenship is checked then by someone before your name is put in the voting records? If not....I know damn well Trumpy Bear is signing in millions.

Yes, God commanded the Israelites to treat "strangers" or foreigners well and not mistreat them. But they were still considered a foreigner and a stranger. They were not going to be allowed to become a "citizen" of the Israelite nation, and to settle among the Israelite people within their nation. It was talking about a situation where a small number of foreigners or strangers might travel by or through their nation.
