The texts do look as though they could be possibly be fake. But also, maybe they are real. The 2 people involved were both clearly mentally ill. If they are fake, I think its just as likely the assassin and his lover conspired to do it to cover up perhaps his lover and others involved. I think that's more likely than a psyop.

I haven't even received a warning for posting anything that is against board rules.
But here you are Nostradamus "predicting" that I will be banned from the board, per your cowardly wet dream fantasy to silence those you disagree with.
For WHAT? I have violated no rules whatsoever. As I understand, the latest updated board rules (that I've seen) were posted by Steve, and the major thing that was prohibited was personal attacks against other users. There was no mention whatsoever about "hate speech" or any groups that were "beyond criticism".
You cannot ban people from the forum when they haven't violated any rules. Name the rule I have violated. You can't.
I agree with this poster here. I have read the rules and there is nothing specifically against Anti Semitic or other types of terrible speech (not to mention off the wall crazy talk) against the board rules, so carry on!
What rules are you guys reading? If IPS actually enforced its own "Posting Policy" the Water Cooler would be a ghost town.

By the way, in case you're wondering how the Kimmel firing went down:
Nexstar is one of the largest owners of ABC affiliate stations, the local stations that are part of the ABC network. It owns or controls more than 200 local television stations. It's in the process of acquiring Tegna, the next biggest of these affiliate conglomerates, controlling 64 news stations. The deal requires the sign off of Trump's FCC toady Brendan Carr. Yesterday, Carr sent a clear message to Nexstar that if they wanted their merger they needed to do the right thing with Jimmy Kimmel. They quickly announced it was no longer appropriate to air his show on their stations. Nexstar on its own took Kimmel off many ABC stations, and ABC then followed suit by "indefinitely" taking his show off the air.
So yeah, same mafioso bullsh** as always with this administration.

I don't often come over to this board very often, but reading this thread was a little disturbing, and fwiw im a conservative.
has anyone reported that one poster for some pretty hardcore anti Semitic views along with a few other forms of hate speech? I am just surprised that the owners of this site let that kind of stuff fly on their platform.
anyways, just curious....thanks,
This is preposterous.
What EXACTLY have I said here that remotely warrants being censored and silenced? Be specific.
All I've done here is re-post statements by people like Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, and even Charlie Kirk himself. And those views are part of the free and open debate going on all across the internet and all of social media - including Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube.
To repeat myself for the 3rd or 4th time, Charlie Kirk himself explicitly said that October 7th was a "stand down" by the Israelis and that they are "trying to ethnically cleanse Gaza" (direct quote). Charlie Kirk also said, paraphrasing, that "elite jewish donors are the driving force behind the cultural Marxist agenda in America".
Are you seriously saying that jews and Israel cannot be criticized in ANY way, and that anyone who does "deserves" to be censored, banned, and silenced from the internet? Is that what you mean by "anti-semitism"? No criticism of jews or Israel allowed at all?
If so, then you need to censor all of this exact debate that is going on on the entire internet.
I never said what poster I was referring to...
I know you didn't mention the poster, but I am willing to bet everyone who has been on the WC for a while will reach the same conclusion on which poster.
Even the poster himself knew exactly who he was talking about...
Here, I'll help! GP needs to be shown the door! And of course our other resident rabid anti-Semite, Werewolf. And for good measure BBW, a raging beyond-the-pale psycho (which is saying something around here). Those three have no business interacting with any human outside of 4Chan.
Fascist!!
Yes you are!
Hey cool! Trump just announced that he'd like to shut down any broadcast network that is "against him". That's your boy!
Have you gotten your goose stepping reps in today?
YOU are the one wanting to kick people off the WC because you disagree with them. YOU are the one cheering to bankrupt and put a political opponent in jail. YOU are the one hoping to keep a political opponent off the voting ballots. YOU are the one who is okay with assassinating political opponents to keep him from running for President and to silence others with a different opinion. YOU are the party of hate, division and violence. If that's not the definition of a fascist, I don't know what is?

But they’re now outraged when Jimmy Kimmel loses his show for lying about a political assassination carried out by someone on the left.
If democrats didn't have double standards they would have no standards at all
The sitting president was de-platformed because he had just incited a mob to attack the Capitol, and for a brief time before the "up is down" machine kicked in even Republicans were horrified by it.
Meanwhile Kimmel said something that hurt MAGA's fee fees.
Totally the same!
False!! Yet, another lie by the left!!
liberals are the real fascist in this world. Remember, whatever they are saying, they are doing…
Straight out of the playbook….accuse the republicans of doing what the democrats are actually doing.

Let's be honest. Kimmel was awful. His ratings were terrible and if you're not pulling in eyes to view ads you're not worth much. Then he did his normal being a disgusting human being and the network saw an opportunity to get out of the contract with him and took it.

He was ranting on a podcast about ABC, saying that "they can do it the easy way or they can do it the hard way". That same day, Nexstar (who is waiting for Carr to approve their merger) pulled Kimmel from all of their their stations, before ABC themselves had made a decision.

Unfortunately it's a "conspiracy" that we're seeing over and over. Same thing happened to Paramount, who needed a merger approved and handed Trump a $15 million settlement for a case they could have easily won. Basically any company with exposure to needing government approval for anything is a target to get shaken down. Like I said, mafioso bullsh**.
It's certainly true that all late night ratings are awful, and it's also true that ABC employees were being swamped with death threats (by the super peaceful right wing), so those certainly figured into ABC's final decision... but the Nexstar merger definitely forced their hand.
