Yeah they're definitely proud of it but you get a ton of food especially if you order fries.

I find the cookout in Oxford to be gross. I find the chargrill in wake forest to be dry, overcooked hamburger patty on an equally dry bun, akin to eating cardboard. Shake Shack beats 'em both.

Shake Shake is fantastic, probably my favorite fast-casual burger.

Five Guys is a close second for me.

Both are significantly better than Char-Grill and Cookout to me, especially Char-Grill. If it weren't for nostalgia or convenience I'd never go.
Not sure your location, but we don't have Shake Shake?

That's a bit of a drive even for me. That said, haven't been there in a spell, and not since I got diagnosed with gluten allergies.
