When I was a kid, my mom kept a can of used grease near the stove. She used to cook with it, and it was the best tasting food.PackMom said:
I make sourdough bread with starter I've had since 1982. This apparently does not creep out my family.

Today I learned there's a restaurant that cooks burgers in 100 year old grease.

...if the idea of eating century-old grease doesn't sit well with you, Robertson assured us that it's perfectly safe. "We strain it through to get any particles out of it and then we season it," he explained. "It's the same molecules from 1912, it's never been changed."

Their burgers suck. Turns out boiling a burger in 100 year old oil makes a great story but not a good burger.

Today I learned what Hellmann's mayonnaise cologne (aka Will Levis No. 8) smells like.
https://www.thetakeout.com/1641265/hellmanns-will-levis-mayonnaise-cologne-review/
As a man who squeezed a dollop of mayonnaise into his coffee, it should come as no surprise that the professional football player wouldn't mind carrying the scent of mayo with him throughout the day.
After letting a few spritzes of the cologne sit and soak into a piece of paper, the lingering smell is closer to lemon and vanilla than it is to Hellmann's. The faintest hint of mayonnaise is barely detectable, but whether or not that's a positive is up for debate.

Today I learned M&M's has a new flavor. Peanut Butter & Jelly.
https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/m-m-just-introduced-first-131500757.html
The brand's first new flavor innovation since 2022 is here: Peanut Butter & Jelly M&M's. The new bite-sized candies feature a berry-flavored chocolate treat with a smooth peanut butter center. Because the only flavor pairing more classic than chocolate and peanut butter is PB & Jso combining all three can only mean delicious things.
