I'm in Michigan at the Corporate Office... they gave us a "free night."

Some of us went to St. Andrews Music Hall......

"Better Than Ezra" concert.... venue similar to old Cole in Charlotte....

Great freaking concert.....

Most of the people there looked old......... LOL.....

It ain't 1995 for any of us anymore.

Pog IPAs, PBRs, Bud heavy...... gonna be a fun meeting at 8 a.m.

Eagle Rare.... I have found a honey hole near our office in Michigan.....

They are in an obscure location out in the sticks. Lots of lakes in the area, lots of stupid money.

You can walk in and find Weller's, Blanton's, Kentucky Owl, Whistle Pig (the good ones), and pretty much if you ask the guy he can get it within a week or two.

Blanton's.... under $100...

Spending the weekend at Wrightsville Beach and sampling different resort cocktails. There's a blueberry coolaid with lavender bitters and vodka that's pretty good on hot afternoons.

Gin and tonics. Wasnt planning on anything but Google Fiber is installing fiber lines in my neighborhood and screwed something up around lunch time and my fiber line has been down since. I had a few work tasks that had to be done by EOB so ending up having to go to a Starbucks to get all my things done, which is always fun to work in public.

Still have no idea when there will be a fix

Outside of the Outer Banks..... it's the most beautiful part of the country North of Lansing/Auburn Hills area I've ever seen. You get into Northern Michigan in the Spring (May or later..LOL) and into the Fall (Mid-Septermber/Mid-October)... It is amazing.

The valleys, ridges, lakes etc.... absolutely beautiful. Driving from the Mackinac Bridge to Houghton, Copper Harbor area in the Upper Peninsula is something to see. Two hours or more of nothing but God's country.

Plus.. if you like to hunt and fish.... wow.

Ahhh. Sounds like you found "Mr. Bartender" then (or a knockoff anyway)... that's one of his signature drinks. Did it have real lavender flower petals in it?

US Open. I'm sure the transfusions will be flowing at the tent. May mix in a beer or two so maybe I can stay awake for the drive home at the end of the day.

It had something solid, not sure if they're flowers or not. The bitters are derived from lavender flowers, anyway, so there's that….i think. Hard to keep track of my colors these days. Recently, I learned I'll be following Wolfpack games through new lenses, lol.
